For me,I prefer the latter.The reasons are as follows.Firstly,there is no doubt that most of the people tend to spend almost entire life in just one familiar city.They know every street,every corner and every store.If they have something repaired,they know th
3、e right place to go.But now,everything changes in the new place.So it is hard for emigrants to adjust in physiology and psychology.What is worse,there is even no friends who can provide enough support.In this situation,naturally the instinct drives them to live with others of their own ethnic backgr
4、ound.Because the same race always means similar diet,similar language and habit.Under the circumstances,emigrants are able to adapt to the new environment easily.Otherwise,the conflict resulting from the complete contrast certainly arises.It results in the bad influence on the quality of life.That i
5、s what we do not want to confront.Why do we desire to emigrate? We just expect to lead a better life.Secondly,the emigrants always go with the whole family including the elder.As we all know,after retirement,it is usually that the aged chat with each other about things in the past.For them,talking a
6、bout trivialities is an essential and necessary way to enjoy themselves.However,assuming that persons around them are different ethnic in the new community,how can our parents or grandparents communicate with neighbors.After all,in accordance with the statistics,over seventy percent of the elder can
7、not speak foreign language especially in Asia.In addition,the fact that the majority of emigrants coming from Asia is well-known.Therefore,how to help the aged avoid loneliness is a serious problem which should be solved in time.I reckon that the best way is to live with people of the same race.Thus all old men benefit from the familiar language.Or,if they have nothing to do but to stay at home all the day,the harmony of the family will be affected sooner or later.All in all,in my opinion,the more familiar,the better.So emigrants ought to live with others of their own ethnic background.
