21、 Beijing 2008 Olympic Games is the inserted element, splitting the attributive clause introduced by that. 4) Olympic Games function as the stage where heroes are made, records broken and medals earned.Analysis: An attributive introduced by where is used here. Note omission is used in the attributive

The auxiliary verb are is omitted in records broken and medals earned when similar structures occur on the run.5) The open arms in the emblem say that China is opening its arms to welcome the rest of the world to join the Olympics, a celebration of “peace, friendship and progress of mankind”.Analy
