Itll be on your left / right.能力目标:能运用所学的语言知识在创设的情境中进行熟练交际,并与实际生活相联系。情感目标:激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动学习积极性,引导学生积极与他人合作,在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。二、教学

How is it going ? Just great. What day is it today ? Whats

3、 the weather like ? Where are you from ? How do you go to school? What do you like ?(设计意图:通过课前的热身运动和互相问候,拉近师生的距离,消除学生的紧张心理,为投入本课的学习创造积极的心态。 )2.Review: Clap- Have fun at the amusement park. All right! Bye, mom. How can we get to the amusement park? Go down this street. Itll be on your left. Thanks a

4、lot.3.Watch the TV to learn hospital, library, cinemaand review the places that they have learnt with the pictures.(设计意图:旧课和旧单词的复习为新课做铺垫,同时通过人手一个地点牌,让人人有发言的机会,并激发学习兴趣。 )Step2 Presentation:1.Watch the TV and learn :Turn left/Turn right/Go straight . Then practice with the traffic designs.(设计意图:多媒体直观生

5、动的说明,易于学生接受理解。同时交通图标的卡片说明加深学生印象。 )2.Learn the new lesson on Page 48 the first one .Let the students read ,translate by themselves. Then show the way how to get to . They are talking while they are drawing. Next listen to the tape and practice saying : How can I get to the other place ? Teach the sec

6、ond one and the third one with the same way.(设计意图:交代本课的活动任务,通过听说读写的综合训练以及图画标示,有利于知识的理解和掌握,最重要的是让学生有了多方面的练习。 )3. Watch the TV :Look at the A (Lets read ) and B ( lets talk ) about look for somewhere . Then read follow them.(设计意图:通过多媒体的情景演示,让学生好像身临其境,激发学生的学习兴趣,营造一个轻松和谐快乐的学习氛围。 )Step3 Practice:1. Game:

7、Look at the map and Guess:Go down this street and turn right. Itll be on your left. Where am I? Go straight three blocks and turn right , Itll be on your left. Guess where I am ?Practice saying one by one while changing different places.(设计意图:通过游戏形式把所学知识融入其中,鼓励学生大胆进行交流,培养综合运用英语的能力。 )2.Exercises: Do
