7、现的运动员;Pre-reading 4个问题,介绍6种非传统的体育项目,引发学生对这些项目的兴趣,并与自身联系起来,使学生思考这些项目与自身的关系。Reading 介绍了拥有最多吉尼斯纪录的传奇人物Ashirita.Furman:他的成就,成长经历以及获得这些成就的精神动力。Comprehending 设计了4项练习,通过粗读,细读,讨论等方式完成。Learning about language 由词汇和语法组成:1. 复习词汇的构成法等;2. 复习主语的用法。Using language 综合训练听说读写的能力Listening and speaking为一段主持人采访2个中学生的谈话录音;

32、v-ed/v-ing 结构作主语。某些形容词与定冠词连用可以表示一类人或一抽象概念。某些“v-ed 分词或 v-ing 结构,其前用 the 也可以表示一类人或物.(常用复数)举例(1)The young should respect the old (the young,the old 指一类人)(2) Medical workers rescue the dying and heal the wounded救死扶伤。(3)The wounded have been sent to hospital and the 1ost are being searched for伤者已被送到了医院,失

33、踪者正在搜寻。5不定式作主语。不定式结构直接置于句首的形式是最常见的,但使用时多数采用先行词 it,而把不定式结构后置。举例(1)To remember to switch off the electricity is important (2)It is a pity not to go to the concert with you (3)It took US five hours to get here我们花了五个小时到这里。6v-ing 结构作主语。v-ing 结构直接置于主语的位置作句子的主语,也可用 it 作形式主语,而把 v-ing 结构置于句末。这种形式通常用于某些形容词或名词

34、之后。举例(1)It is no good complaining抱怨是没有用的。 、(2)It is no use arguing with him同他争辩没有用注意important,essential,possible,impossible,necessary 等形容词不适于这种结构。举例(1) It is important learning foreign languages(误)(2)It is important to learn foreign languages(正)学习外语很重要。辨析作主语的 v-ing 结构与不定式结构在意义上是有区别的:v-ing 结构作主语通常表示抽

35、象动作,而不定式结构作主语通常表示具体动作。举例(1)Its no use crying over spilt milk 后悔没有用。(表示抽象动作)(2)He realized that to go on like this was no use 他认识到继续这样做没有用处。7从句作主语。(1)that 从句作主语(that 从句作主语通常用先行词 it 作形式主语,而将 that 从句置于句末),在这种结构中,从属连词 that 有时可省略。 举例(1)It was obvious that the driver could not control his car(2)That he wi

36、ll succeed is certain他会成功是肯定的。注意that 从句放于句首时,that 不能省略。(2)wh-从句作主语这种结构分两类:一类是由疑问代词或疑问副词引导,另一类由连词 whether 引导,前者是由特殊疑问句转化而来,后者由一般疑问句转化而来。举例(1) Who was responsible for the accident is not yet clearIt is not clear who was responsible for the accident谁来负责这次事故不清楚。(2)It is not known when he did it.不知道他什么时候
