5、s to a minimum in an office environment: Keep aisles and access ways clear of all obstructions at all times; Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times; Ensure rubbish is disposed of correctly; Maintain adequate ventilation and lighting at all times; Ensure noise levels are kept at a controlle
6、d low comfortable volume.2.6 PPEIf required, ensure PPE and the required standard of dress is worn.2.7 Electrical SafetyThe following actions are to be followed at all office locations: All office equipment is to be inspected and tagged on an annual basis (see SWI-0418 Isolation Current surge protec
7、tors are to be used on computers and expensive electrical equipment; Do not piggyback multi plugs. Turn off all electrical appliances at the end of the workday. Do not store any paper or documents near power points.2.8 Dangerous Goods Wear seatbelts at all times; Obey all traffic rules; Any traffic

9、workers effectively perform your duties and responsibilities the following guidelines shall be followed: A smoke-free environment is to be maintained in all company vehicles and office locations. If you are ill and the illness may effect other workers you are to seek medical advice from a Doctor and
10、 if advised stay at home until you are well. Always practice good hygiene; Protect yourself from the elements by always dressing appropriately to suit the climate and type of work being performed; Understand fully the requirements of the Companys drug and alcohol policy and procedure.2.11 SecuritySe
11、curity African Minerals at particularly in African Minerals offices (see Group Procedure GRP-14 Security Access to AMP Building) is the responsibility of all employees at all times. The protection of Company and personal property, both physical and intellectual, is a high priority. The following sec
12、urity measures are to be observed at all times: Never leave valuables in an unattended office; Always lock an office if it is to be left unattended; Do not leave confidential or sensitive documents, CDs or floppy disks on desks; Do not discuss confidential company business in front of visitors or st
13、rangers; Ensure electronic data is backed up in accordance with IT requirements; Be aware of danger of spreading virus through our IT systems by opening email attachments from unconfirmed sources; Report all suspicious persons; Report all suspicious packages; Report all unattended bags or packages (DO NOT TOUCH THEM) Never speak to any media, be polite and refer them to the African Minerals Vice President (VP) via the VP secretary.3.
