3、the Peoples Republic of China“ and “the wild animal protection law of the Peoples Republic of China“ and relevant laws and regulations, these rules.Article 2 all units and individuals engaged in fishery production or related activities in the waters of the Yangtze river and its tongjiang waters must
4、 abide by these provisions.Article 3 the Yangtze river fishery resources management committee shall be responsible for the management and coordination of the fishery resources of the Yangtze river. The office of the Yangtze river fishery resources management committee (the fisheries and fisheries ad
5、ministration bureau of the ministry of agriculture) is responsible for the daily work.Article 4 protection of the Yangtze river fishery resources:(1) protecting aquatic wildlife on the first and second level of the country: baiji, Chinese sturgeon, daojian sturgeon, paddlefish, carmine, songjiang se
6、a bass, finless porpoise, giant salamander, mole warms, chuanchui salmon, etc.(2) fish: shad, eel, carp, black carp, grass carp, bighead carp, megalobrama amblycephala, triangle John dory, bream fish, bring about (wei), mullet fish, barracuda, chicken Ji, knife Ji, river bring (top), yellow Sang fis

33、e province or municipality directly under the central government. Provinces and municipalities should control the blind growth of fishing boats.Article 15. Strengthen environmental protection in fishery waters and strictly enforce the water quality standards of the Peoples Republic of China and rele
34、vant regulations on water quality.Article 16 the fisheries environment monitoring stations along the river shall be responsible for monitoring the pollution of the Yangtze river and its tongjiang fishing waters and the accident of fishery resources caused by pollution.If the fishery resources are lo
35、st due to pollution, the fishery administration and fishing port supervision and administration shall conduct investigation and treatment according to relevant regulations.Article 17 of the construction of water conservancy project in fishing areas, dredging the channel, the construction of the port

39、 regulation to protect the outstanding achievements of the fishery resources of the Yangtze river.Article 19 whoever violates the provisions of this regulation shall be punished by the supervision and administration of fishing and fishing port in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.Article
40、 20 the ministry of agriculture shall be responsible for the interpretation of these provisions.Article 21 these provisions shall come into force as of the date of promulgation. The provisional regulations on the management of fishery resources in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river shall be repealed simultaneously.
