My presentation includes the following steps: Analysis of the teaching material and the students; analysis of the learning aims;

Analysis of the studentsThe students are in Grade 2. Their major is Fashion DesignThe characteristics of the students Methods to deal withMost
3、of them are girls; they are very imaginative and thoughtful. They study Clothes Design; they need inspiration and the feelings of fashion. They all love traveling and life.We combine clothing with traveling. So the students will be interested in this topic.Most of them like audio and visual ways of
4、learning; they prefer to oral practices.Using Multimedia teaching and Activity teaching methods to arouse students interestThey have some basic English, but they are weak in listening and speaking.From easy to hard, step by step we can practice the students language skills.Fewer students are interes
5、ted in language studying; it is difficult for them to focus on my teaching in a short time.We can use music ,video and some knowledge related to their major to arouse students interestsStep two. Analysis of the teaching materialThe textbook I am using is Module 2 of English Basis. What I am going to
6、 teach is the first period of Unit 7 “So much to do before we travel!” The aims of this unit are to master the vocabulary and sentence patterns about traveling and understand dialogues; at the same time make the students to talk about traveling with friends and invite some friends to travel together

11、proaches I will use in this period are mainly Task-based Approach and also Communicative Language Teaching. At the same time, I use other methods, including Situational teaching, Activity method of teaching. The learning strategies:The students may use is mainly cognitive strategies, including knowl

Listening tasks: OK!Now we have known Cathys story and her problems. We want to know how she deals with these problems through the listening.设计意图:设置故事情境后,让学
17、生带着问题进入听力,学生对 Cathy 的工作生活有个简单的了解,对旅游的相关单词也进行了回顾,这样学生比较容易走进人物对话,非常想了解 Cathy 的旅游计划如何安排。实施办法:让学生带着问题听听力. 听力部分分为三个活动,第一活动比较简单,了解 Cathy 邀请旅游的对象,旅游前准备的物品;第二活动细听听力内容,了解旅游的地点,为什么去那里旅游,旅游的住宿。第三部分还原听力内容,解析听力中“给出建议”和“寻求建议”的表达方式。找到听力对话中 Cathy 和 Myra 的重点表达句式,学习如何制定旅游计划。 效果预测:学生会积极投入,在小组成员共同讨论的学习方式中,掌握任务的内容,学习重点句
18、式,对后面的语言练习奠定基础作用。亮点总结:故事情节与听力教材紧密结合,学生们会抱有很大的兴趣和好奇,想看看 Cathy 的旅游计划,创设一个人物故事,引入课题紧扣故事,进入人物对话,完成听力,了解句型3这样学生就会更加踊跃的投入听力活动中。对于学习材料的自主运用和小组成员之间的讨论,也是对学生学习能力的一种培养。困难预测:班级学生层次不同,所以听力部分的练习对于有些学生还是有一定的困难。解决预案:教师也可以参与到活动中给予提示。4. Speaking tasks:We have learnt the useful expressions for traveling. (1) Speaking
19、 task 1 -Vocabulary contest:The rule of the game :活动中有 4 个编号,每个编号的后面代表一景点,每个小组选派 2 位同学,根据景点特色完成简短小对话。参考句型:1 Where shall we go?2. What do we need to take with us?设计意图:This game is very simple, most of the students can ask questions and answer. This activity can practice the students ability of langua
20、ge, improve their self-confidence.(这部分活动主要是对旅游相关词汇的复习)效果预测:the students appreciate the scenery, listen to music and use some sentences that they have learnt to finish this activity(学生们可以一边感受祖国山河之美,一边轻松的演练小对话 ).亮点总结:The atmosphere is very active. The students feel the beauty of nature. (自然中渗透德育)困难预测:
21、这部分的游戏活动涉及到上节课所学习的词汇,有些词汇可能学生有些忘记。解决预案:在讲故事情景中的问题时,有些词汇已在黑板上板书,学生可以相对参考。(2)speaking task 2:Since we have learnt so many useful expressions for traveling, lets try to do a better job. I have four envelopes and now I will give an envelope to each group. There are many small pieces of paper in every en
22、velope. Every student of each group should take out of a piece of paper. Some of students paper is question, but others paper is answer. Every group should make a travel plan according to the contents. 设计意图:To further consolidate what they have learnt.(在前一个活动基础之上,将旅游计划的整体句型表达出来,让学生通过小组之间的合作学习,能够排序,完
23、整的将一个旅游计划说出来)效果预测:一问一答找伙伴就比较简单,但是要将每一个部分结合在一起,组织一个完整的“旅游计划”就需要学生对旅游的安排有个基础的了解)亮点总结:在一项教学活动中对学生说的要求就非常明显,同时还需要学生有一定的逻辑顺序。问题预测:制定旅游计划的对话中,学生有些句式表达不完整。解决预案: I will encourage those students who are not so good at English to do simple exercises and praise them in time. I will encourage those students who

The next period will be designed according to the result. 设计意图:总结所学内容,加深学生理解效果预测:在完成了学习基础词汇,表达之后,学生们应该可以组织简单的自由会话。亮点总结:学生们可以自由选择旅游地点,自由选择出游伙伴,句子可以灵活加减,有自由发挥的空间。6. H
28、omeworkThe homework is to intensify speaking dialogues and write it on the book. The homework is also a feedback of the learning effect.设计意图:传统的抄写作业不能培养学生的学习能力和解决问题的操作能力。本课设计的作业更加强调所学内容在实际生活中的应用。效果预测:学生们会有自己喜欢的旅游地点,会结合自己的语言写出比较有个人特点的对话。学生学习内容自由会话,综合练习Consolidate the knowledge5亮点总结:在完成作业的时候,需要了解著名的旅游
29、城市的特点,需要学生们思考和收集相应的信息,再运用本课所学的内容,进行任务完成。问题预测:对于旅游景点的特色学生们会比较陌生。解决预案:鼓励学生们自主查询信息。课程结束时,让学生们通过视频观看中山面貌,从而渗透德育情感教育:让学生更加热爱自己的家乡,热爱生活,感受快乐!Step seven Teaching Reflection 1. The application of media technology: In this lesson, we stimulated the students both in visual and audio way by active and practica
30、l teaching materials. The pictures and videos enlarged the information of students, and helped a lot in creating a real situation in class, which makes the lesson more interactive and vivid. The application of media technology played an important role in realizing teaching aims and helping students
31、to understand the difficult teaching points. 2. The teacher and the students can talk freely. The activities designed are realizable and different levels of students can participate in.The atmosphere is relaxing and nice. We should try our best to cover all the students need. We have to arrange diff
