2、 and Prevention; Abstract Objective To evaluate the effect of health education on iodine deficiency disorders in Fujian province in 2015, analyze the form of activities and explore the new methods of intervention. Methods Multiple forms of health education intervention were carried out in 8 project
3、counties, before and after the intervention, fifth grade pupils and housewives as the target populations were surveyed by uniform questionnaires in baseline survey and effectiveness evaluation. ResultsAfter the intervention, the awareness rate in the pupils increased from 63.22% (1 411/2 232) to 90.
4、26% (3 550/3 933) , and that in the housewives increased from 64.05% (709/1 107) to 88.26% (2 376/2 097) , the differences were statistically significant (P 0.01) .The awareness rate of housewives was lower than that of pupils, and some of the project counties had low awareness rate.
