10、引起。辨析:arise, arouse, raise, risearise vi.(arose, arisen) 突然出现 , 发生。主语一般为抽象名词,如 problem, trouble, quarrel, difficulty, misunderstanding 等。也表示“升起,起床”之意,但现在多用rise 和 get up 取代。arouse vt.(aroused, aroused)引起,唤醒,激起。raise vt.(raised, raised)举起,提高,较多地被用于具体的场合 ,如举手,举杯,升旗等; 有时也用于提高工资,提高工作效率等。4rise vi.(rose, r

13、 asleep as soon as he lay down.归纳拓 展 So.that 表示“如此以至于” ,引导结果状语从句,口语中 that 可省略。so 可置于句首,句子倒装,即:so+形容词/副词+is/ was + 主语+ that。辨析:sothat suchthat suchthat 也可以表示“如此以至于” ,但 such 修饰名词,而 so 修饰形容词或副词。sothat 意思是“太以至于” ,引导结果状语从句。具体用法如下:adj./adv.+ that-clauseso + adj.+ a/an + 单数可数名词 + that-clausemany/much/few/l
