The current business and social areas are not only multicultural, but are multigenerational. Etiquette is the social behavior, manners, and ceremonies established by convention as acceptab

Entertaining clients means impressing them

C说我在gate 3。A说你别跑了,那我过去,咱们就在gate 3见面。 过了没多久,C收到A的电话,A说我都到了,你到底在哪里啊?我为什么一直没看见你啊?C说我就在门口啊。A说我就在门口啊,gate 3嘛,可是我也没看见你啊。 吼吼,最后结果呢,就是两人走差了。米国人A在机场里面,过了安检,在登机口的Gate 3 (登机口全称叫Boarding Gate,口语里面就直接说Gate了),咱们滴同胞C在机场门口,进大门的Gate 3.,当in和一个小地点的名词连用的时候,表示在这个东西的里面。比如这里的in the airport,是指“我们在机场里面见”。而中国同事却理解成“在机场见”,然后再加上后来那个gate,让C更郁闷,因为一般我们把大门之类的才叫gate,而登机口这个单词属于如果不注意,还真不知道怎么说的那种,所以当C给A打电话,两人说在gate 3见面的时候,C更加确定自己理解的“机场大门口”是正确的了。,Thank,you,
