2、he teaching aims, the key and difficult points, the teaching methods, the teaching procedure and the blackboard design.Firstly,lets focus on the analysis of teaching material. The lesson is a new one of Unit 3.This topic is about transportation. It is related to our daily life and it is easy to unde
3、rstand for students in Grade 7.By studying of the unit ,the students will develop the interest in this lesson.This lesson is in the important position of this unit. If the Ss can master it well, it will be helpful for them to learn the rest of this unit. So, its the analysis of the teaching material
4、. Now I want to talk about my students. Our students are in Grade 7.They are active and curious,interested in new things.After learning English for 3years,they have some basic English knowledge.However, their attention may easily distract from the lesson.teacher should guide the students to learn.Af
5、ter the analysis of students, I want to move on to the teaching aims. So I set the following aims.The first one is knowledge aim.After the lesson,students will able to read,recognize and use the new words about transportation and the sentence pattern.The second one is ability aim. By the end of the
6、lesson,students can use the transportation terms.They can use the sentences in real life. And their abilities of speaking will be developed.The third one is emotional aim. By completing the dialogue, the students may develop the awareness of following traffic rules.The students may also increase the
7、ir interest in English learning and set up self-confidence in speaking. Based on the three teaching aims, I set the key and difficult points as follows:The key points is to make sure the students can recognize and use the new words:train,bus,subway,bike.They can also use the sentence:How do you get
8、to school?-I take/ride the. The difficult points is to distinguish the use of “take”. Above is the teaching key and difficult points, Id like to show my teaching methods. As we all know,a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help Ss develop good sense of the English language. For ac
9、hieving these teaching aims,I will mainly use “Task-based teaching method”, “Communicative language teaching method”in this lesson.And of course I will use some cards,pictures,tape,multi-media as teaching aid.According to the methods, I will try to let the students involved in the lesson and make th
10、em learn by doing.After explaining the teaching methods,now I will show my most important part- teaching procedures. I will finish the lesson in 4 steps.The first step is lead inAfter greeting with students,I will ask the students “How was your school trip?”Do you like your school trip?”.After the s
11、tudents answer the question ,I will ask”Did you take the bus?” and let them try to give an answer.Then I will write down the phrase”take the bus”.The new lesson will be leaded in.In this way ,the students will interested in the topic and pay attention to the lesson.It may creat a relax and happy Eng
12、lish learning surrounding.The second step is presentationFirst I will let the Ss look at the picture,and ask them: What is the boy doing? Where is he going ? How does he get to school? Then I will help the Ss answer: He often rides a bike to school. Then use these pictures to teach other transportat
13、ions “take the train, take the bus, take the subway” After that , Ill ask the students to make dialogues like this : A:How do you get to school?B:I take the bus.A:How does he get to school?B:He takes the subway.The purpose of this is to present the new words and sentences ,which relates to the Ss re
14、al life experiences,to help the students understand the language easily.The third step is consolidation and practiceIn this step,I will divide the students into four groups ,each group do a survey about these questions:How far is it from your partners home to your school? How does he (she) get to sc
15、hool? How long does it take? Then report it about .In this way ,the students will have a deep impression of the new words and sentences.And I think If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their English.The last step is summary and homework I will ask the students act as a ass
16、itant teacher ,and guide the students to conclude the key words and the sentences.The homework is to search some traffic rules and other tranpotations on the Internet.Summary and homework are so important and necessary for the students to master the knowledge they learned . It will check whether the
17、 Ss achieve the teaching aims.At last I will say something about Blackboard design The blackboard is very clear. So its easy for the students to get the key points during the whole class .And by the end of the lesson, the blackboard can present a clear summary of the lesson.
