2、n at Haworth, Yorkshire. When they were young, the Bronte sisters were sent to a school for clergymens daughters. The oldest two died there due to the poor and unhealthy conditions. 3、ters, Charlotte and Emily were brought home to be educated by their father. For some time, they worked in a boarding school and were subsequently governesses in rich families. 8、 Bronte 安妮 .勃朗特 Anne was born in 1820. She was a gentle and soft girl, being introvert and quiet, she was regarded less gifted than her two elder sisters. She just lived for 29 years, and during the last ten years of her life, she was busy serving as a governess. Though teaching had taken much of her time, she still wrote two novels, Agnes Grey and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, which brought her great fame.
