18、 Project in 2003. He joined the Go West Project because he was eager to help the poor pupils in the remote areas in Guizhou where there is no enough water, no electricity or telephone. He told us the hard life that native people had lived and the difficulties he had to overcome: the children couldnt
19、 understand the mandarin and they could only speak their dialect. But he would never forget those days when he spent with his students. He tried to adjust to the hard life and shared happiness and sadness with them, which made him the most popular teacher in the school.He values his past experiences which makes him grateful for what he has. His future seems full and challenging because he will be one of the volunteers who go to teach Chinese in Africa.Xu Benyu is really the very person who we should learn from.
