2、表示时间，地点，原因，结果，目的，条件，让步。尽管种类较多，但由于状语从句与汉语的结构和用法相似，英语学习的技巧性，所以理解和掌握它并不难。考点：引导不同状语从句的常用连接词和特殊的连接词时间状语从句： when, while, as（当时） ；before（在之前） ；after（在之后） ；since（自从） ；not until（直到才） ；as soon as（一就）地点状语从句： where, wherever原因状语从句： because（因为） ；since（既然） ；as（由于）结果状语从句： so that, suchthat（如此以至于）目的状语从句： so that（以便

4、 N+ that; Such(+ adj.)+ N（复数、不可数）+ that(2)当名词前有 many 或 much 修饰时，用 so 而不用 such. Eg. She is so lovely a girl that we love her very much.She is such a lovely girl that we love her very much.她是如此可爱的一个女孩以至于我们都非常喜欢她。We have so much time that we can finish the work very much. 我们有如此多的时间以至于我们能很好的完成工作。2 目的状语从
5、句 （1）由 so that, in order that 引导，谓语中常含有 can, will, may, might, would, could 等情态动词。Eg. He must get up early so that he can catch the bus.他必须早起，以便赶上第一班公交车。（2）当从句主语与主句主语一致时，可用 so as to, in order to.Eg. He worked day and night in order to succeed. 他夜以继日地工作为的是取得成功。3 地点状语从句 由 where, wherever 引导。Eg. Sit wh
6、erever you like.随便坐。This is the village where he was born. 这就是他出生的地方。个性化教育辅导专家郑州新世纪学校 34 原因状语从句由 because, since, as 引导。 Because 用于表示直接原因,回答 why 提出的问题，语气最强；As 用于说明原因, 着重点在主句，常译成“由于“ ；Since 表示显然的或已知的理由或事实，常译成“既然“ 。Eg. I like to eat apples because they are good for my health. 我喜欢吃苹果，因为苹果对我的健康有益。I do it
7、 because I like it. 我做这件事Since you cant answer the question, you can ask someone else for help. 既然你不能回答这个问题，你可以找别人帮你。As I didnt know how to do it, I asked the teacher.由于我不知道怎么做，就问了老师。5 让步状语从句由 though, although, even if, whatever, wherever, whenever 引导。Eg. Whenever you come, I will wait for you. 无论你什
8、么时候来，我都会等你。Though its difficult to make her dream come true, she never gives up.尽管实现她的梦想很难，但她从未放弃过。6 条件状语从句 由 if, as long as, unless 引导。（1）主句为一般将来时或者主句是祈使句时，从句用一般现在时。 （主将从现）Eg. I will visit the Great Wall if it doesnt rain tomorrow. 如果明天不下雨，我将去游览长城。Dont laugh at me when I make a mistake. 我犯错误的时候不要笑话
9、我。I will not give her the gift unless she passes the test tomorrow. ( unless= if not )I will not give her the gift if she doesnt pass the test tomorrow.我不会给她礼物除非她通过明天的考试。As long as I am alive, I will go on studying. 只要我活着我就要学习。个性化教育辅导专家郑州新世纪学校 4（2）if 有两个意思。a: 作“是否”讲时，引导宾语从句，意同 whether,从句的时态由事实决定。b:
10、作“假如，如果”讲时，引导条件状语从句，此时若主句为一般将来时或祈使句时，从句用一般现在时表将来。Eg. We dont know if it will tomorrow. If it rains, we dont have a sports meeting.我们不知道明天是否下雨。如果下雨，我们就不开运动会了。7 时间状语从句 由 when, while, as, before, after, since, notonly, as soon as 引导。（1）当主句是一般将来时的时候，遵守“主将从现” 。Eg. I will ring you up as soon as I get to B
11、eijing. 我一到北京就给你打电话。（2）when 可以和延续性动词连用，也可以和短暂性动词连用；而 while 和 as 只能和延续性动词连用。when 从句的谓语动词可以在主句谓语动作之前、之后或同时发生；while 和 as 从句的谓语动作必须是和主句谓语动作同时发生。While 表示时间段,因此，while 从句的谓语动词要用延续性动词。As 与 when 用法相似，但着重强调主句动作与从句动作同时发生，有“随着“或“一边一边“之意。Eg. When he came in, his mother was cooking. 当他进来的时候，他妈妈正在做饭。Please dont ta
12、lk so loud while others are working. 别人正在工作的时候，请不要大声说话。As you get older, you get more knowledge.随着年龄的增长，你获得的知识就越多。（3）until till 引导的时间状语从句。当主句谓语是延续性动词，主从句肯定形式，且用 untiltill；当主句谓语是非延续性动词，主句用否定形式，用 until（notuntil ）Eg. 13、shed my homework. 我直到做完作业才去睡觉。（4）since 引导时间状语从句表示“自以来” 。主句用一般现在时或者现在完成时，从句用一般过去时。结构为：It has beensince+ 从句；It is since + 从句Eg.
