1、羊痘病例報告疫學研究組李淑慧副所長兼疫學研究組組長張仁杰助理研究員摘 要2008年6月,臺灣農政當局撲殺了2 場210頭,來自桃園縣兩牧場之山羊,患羊臨床上顯現極度瘦削、發燒、流鼻汁、眼鼻分泌物增加、結膜炎及呼吸困難、乳房炎、流產及嚴重皮膚病變,其死亡可達 50%以上。患羊全身出現硬實突起結節,尤以背部及肩頸部最明顯。組織病理學檢查可見顯著皮膚炎及真皮炎等病變;表皮棘皮層可見許多大小一嗜酸性質內包涵體,另可見許多細胞核內見染色質或染色質著邊現象(marginated chromatin),呈孔狀空泡化病變;肺臟呈增殖性及間質性肺炎。肺、皮膚節結及粘膜病灶區乳劑以負染色法鏡檢,可見病毒型態為磚型
2、且表面具有管狀小體構成絲狀結構之痘病毒;前述病材進行綿羊/山羊痘病毒聚合酶鏈鎖反應(PCR) ,其PCR產物進行核酸序列分析,與山羊痘病毒相似性為99%。行政院農業委員會家畜衛生試驗所,綜合臨床症狀、肉眼病變、病理學、電子顯微鏡、PCR及核酸定序等結果,確診為台灣首例山羊痘病例。The first goat pox outbreak in TaiwanAnimal Health Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, Executive YuanJen-Chieh Chang and Shu-Hwae LeeAbstractGoats on tw

The high mortality (up to 50 percentage) and gross findings was noted. Laboratory tests on June 27 confirmed goat pox
4、 broke out on these farms. There were hard nodules and varying degrees of papule including small erythematous macule, papules, round ulceration and crust cover the whole body, especially in the back, neck, shoulder, mouth, lips, face, inside ear and skin of udders. Histopathological examination reve
5、aled significant skin dermatitis, vasculitis and local inflammation of corium. The nuclei of infected cells were vacuolated and have marginated chromatin with vacuolated cytoplasm contained single or multiple eosinophilic intracytoplasmic inclusion bodies. The pulmonary lesions were proliferative, i
6、nterstitial pneumonia and bronchiolitis. The trachea and nasal mucosa showed multifocal necrosis with epithelial cells degeneration, necrosis and ulceration. Severe congestion and hemorrhagic lesions were noted in the trachea and nasal submucosa. The emulsion material was also tested by negative sta
7、ining under the electron microscope. The pox virions were brick-shaped and cover in shorted tubular elements. The extraction of nucleic acid also amplified with specific sheep / goat pox virus primer by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and the PCR products were analyzed by sequencing. The molecular b
8、iologic results showed the sequence had 99% similarity to goat pox virus. Animal Health Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan made the final diagnosis to be goat pox according to the results of clinical signs, gross lesions, pathological diagnosis, electron microscopy diagnosis, PCR and nucleic acid sequencing. It was confirmed the first case of goat pox outbreak in Taiwan.
