1、,Lectures on Writing Medical Paper Abstracts in English,第五讲SCI 收录我国三种医学杂志英文摘要赏析,SCI 是美国科学引文索引 (Science Citation Index)的缩写。由于SCI 数据库具有学科全面、学术影响大、覆盖国家广泛等特点,因而被其收录检索的期刊和论文分别被称作国际主流期刊和国际主流科学。刊物或论文被SCI 收录和引用在一定程度上反映了该刊物或论文具有较高的学术水平和较大的国际影响力。 我国目前被SCI 收录的科技期刊共60种,而临床医学类只有中华医学杂志(英文版)、中国药理学报和世界胃肠病杂志3种。,一、中国

6、 blastocysts showed normal levels of implantation on culture dishes in vitro, but significantly fewer genistein-pretreated embryos reached the later stages of embryonic development versus the controls, with many of the former embryos dying at relatively early stages of development. 10、nts with type 1 diabetes, initiated within the first 24 h of diagnosis, prolongs the “honeymoon“ period and lowers their insulin requirements.,Methods: All children (n=66) with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes admitted to Salmaniya Medical Complex between 1998 and 2000, received NA 1-2mg/kg per day,

11、in addition to sc insulin bid. The patients were followed for 24 months (NA group). Findings in this group were compared with records from a similarly diagnosed control group (n=37), who were admitted to the same hospital between 1995 and 1997 and did not receive NA treatment. The insulin dose per k

12、g bodyweight required at baseline and at 3-monthly intervals up to 2 years after diagnosis was determined.,Results: At baseline, the two groups did not differ with respect to age, ethnic background, weight, insulin dose per kg bodyweight or glucose levels on admission. However, NA group had lower in

13、sulin requirements than control group at each 3-month interval up to 2 years after diagnosis. Conclusion: Our study results suggest that even low doses of oral NA given to children with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes may reduce insulin requirements and prolong the “honeymoon“ period.,范文赏析 中国药理学报 (A

18、tAbstract: Background Atrial fibrillation (AF) is accompanied by atrial structural remodeling. Calpain activity is induced during AF. To test a causal relationship between calpain activation and atrial structural changes, N-acetyl-Leu-Leu-Met (ALLM), a calpain inhibitor, was utilized in a canine AF

19、model.,Methods Fifteen dogs were randomly divided into 3 groups: sham-operated group, control group and calpain inhibitor group; each with 5 dogs. Sustained AF was induced by rapid right atriumpacing at 600 beats per minute for 3 weeks. ALLM was administered at a dosage of 1.0 mgkg-1d-1 in the calpa

20、in inhibitor group. Three weeks later, the proteolysis, protein expression of TnT and myosin, calpain I localization and expression and structural changes were examined in left atrial free walls, right atrial free walls and the interatrial septum respectively. Atrial size and contractile function we

21、re also measured by echocardiography.,Results Long-term rapid atrial pacing induced marked structural changes such as enlarged atrial volume, myolysis, degradation of TnT and myosin, accumulation of glycogen and changes in mitochondrial shape and size, which were paralleled by an increase in calpain

22、 activity. The positive correlation between calpain activity and the degree of myolysis (rs=0.90 961, P0.0001) was demonstrated. In addition to structural abnormalities, pacing-induced atrial contractile dysfunction was observed in this study. The pacing-induced atrial structural alterations and los

23、s of contractility were partially prevented by the calpain inhibitor ALLM.,Conclusions Activation of calpain represents key features in the progression towards overt structural remodeling. Calpain inhibitor, ALLM, suppressed the increased calpain activity and reversed structural remodeling caused by

24、 sustained atrial fibrillation in the present model. 26、 (WD). METHODS: Seventy-five patients with WD from 72 no-kinship families, 44 males and 31 females, were enrolled in this study. The age of onset ranged from 4 to 39 years, =18 years in 72 patients. Some exons of ATP7B gene mutations were analyzed in patients with WD by using biochemical methods, po

27、lymerase chain reaction-single strand configuration polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) and DNA sequence analysis. A total of 778 coding regions were identified with restriction enzyme Msp I. The activity of Cu-ATPase was assessed by measuring inorganic phosphorus.,RESULTS: Sixty-six of 75 patients (88%) had wi

28、th hepatic manifestations, 39 of them had only hepatic manifestations, 27 patients had hepatic and neurological manifestations or other symptoms at the same time (16 patients had associated neurological manifestation, 3 patients had osteopathy, 8 patients had other symptoms). Eight of the 75 patient

29、s (10.7%) had only neurological symptoms, one patient (5 years old) had no symptom. Twelve changing patterns were detected in ATP7B gene by DNA sequencing, including seven mutations (R778L, C656X, G943D, V1140A, V1106I V1216M and 1384del17), six polymorphisms (IVS4-5t/c, A2495G, C2310G, IVS18+6c/t a

30、nd IVS20+5a/g).,R778L occurred in 49/66 patients (74%) with hepatic manifestations, homozygosis of R778L in 16 patients, heterozygosity of R778L in 33 patients. V1106I mutation of ATP7B gene occurred in 2 patients with delaying onset of clinical symptoms. Cu-ATPase activity of three patients with kn

31、own mutations (R778L/V1106I/A2495G, R778L/V1216M and R778L/R778L) were determined, and the activity of Cu-ATPase was decreased by 44.55%, 88.23% and 69.49% respectively. CONCLUSION: 1384del17bp is a novel mutation found in WD patients. R778L is the most common mutation of ATP7B gene. There is a correlation between R778L and hepatic manifestations in WD patient.,
