1、Module 2学习任务:Theres a Chinatown in New York!There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.功能:用“There be” 句型描述事物运用任务:1 、SB 活动 3;2、AB 练习 4;3、选一张袭击喜欢的图画或照片带到班上来,用本课所学的举行向全班或小组成员讲诉图画后照片中的事物,请他们试着讲出来;4、给朋友发一封 email ,介绍一个自己游览过的城市或国家;5、设计一个“ 周末我去了哪儿”的游戏,让每一位同学描述去地点的景物,其他同学猜一猜那是什么地方。教学时间:4 课时第一课时1.

2、Listen, point and find “There is /There are”A: Tell the students to close their Students Books.B: Divide them into two groups. One groups is “There is” and the other group is “There are”.C: If they hear either There is or There are, the correct group has to stand up and shout Stop!D: Play the record

3、ing again if the students miss out on the target phrases the first time round.E: After the listening activity, ask the students to open their books and read the dialogue aloud.F: Then, ask them to underline all the examples of There is and There are.2. Listen and say.A: In these types of activities,

4、 the students have to listen to the tape and then repeat the sentences.B: They are given pictures to give context and meaning to the sentences.C: Before playing the tape, encourage the students to tell you what they can see in the pictures. This will add more meaning to the activities and prepare th

5、em for the listening part of the exercise.E: Play the tape and then pause it. Ask the students to repeat what they have heard to reinforce the target language.3. Look and say.A: Make full use of the pictures first by getting the students to point at the objects as you say them.B: This will expose th

6、e students to the vocabulary and prepare them for the activity.课后反思:本节课是学习第二模块的重点句型 there be 句型。通过理解和大量的练习,大多数学生理解了句型, 但在具体做时还是存在问题-不是把地点写错,就是有用错,或是复数忘加 s,等等,就是很少有些对的,但语序不存在问题,今后多练习就会减少这样的问题。 第二课时1. Listen to the story again. Then complete the email. The words in the box will help you.A: Remind the

7、students of the story by playing the recording again. Then, encourage them to tell you the important things in the story.B: Go through the first questions with the students.C: Play the recording and let the students do the exercise.D: Check their answers by repeating the activity above.2. Look at th

Write sentences.A: Tell the students to draw pictures similar to the ones in the book, e.g., bag, chair, cake, etc.B: Tell them they must only draw things that they know how to say in English.C: Collect all the pictures from the class.E: Then, put the students in pairs, Student A and Stu

Tell them to listen carefully and point to the correct picture.C: This will prepare them for the listening part of the exer

Look and complete the postcard.A: Tell the students to close their Activity Books.B: Tell them that you are going to describe a picture and they have to draw it.C: Draw a large blank on the board.D: Describe the scene in the Activity Book and invite students to some to the board t o draw the

16、 description.E: Repeat with the rest of the descriptions of the picture.F: Now tell them to open their Activity Books and look at the picture. G: Ask them to compare the drawing on the board with the one in the Activity Book.H: Focus their attention on things that they may have missed out. I: This will prepare them well for the writing activity.课后反思:课后反思:本节课是这一模块的一节综合复习课。通过复习,学生们对本节课的内容有了更深刻的认识和理解,起到了温故而知新的目的,达到了预期的效果。
