He is widely considered as one of the preeminent violin virtuosi of the 20th century.,生平,Early Life,Early life,Per

2、lman was born in Tel Aviv, where he first became interested in the violin when he heard a classical music performance on the radio. He studied at the Academy of Music in Tel Aviv before moving to the United States to study at the Juilliard School.,Early life,Perlman contracted polio at the age of fo

3、ur. He made a good recovery, learning to walk with the use of crutches. 10、ears, and it was not until the 1720s that he won fame as a major theorist of music with his Treatise on Harmony . He was almost 50 before he embarked on the operatic career. 12、as taught music before he could read or write; he claimed his passion for opera at the age of twelve. In the year of 1745, he was granted the title “Compositeur du Cabinet du Roi“.
