The poem is almost like a speech or a dramatic monologue delivered by a character, the character being all of the Hollow Men. Bu

2、t the verses dont hold together like a speech in a play.,Theme,The themes in this poem are mainly the lack of hope and spiritual guidance in human society, a lack of an emotional outlet to express ideas and opinions, and the meaninglessness of life.,Page 5,Theme,The first theme is a lack of spiritua

3、l guidance and hope in society. When the narrator says, ”the eyes are not here” the author sees the eyes as spiritual leaders.
