This sentence is a defining relative clause. who is standing in the front of your classroom is used to modify man. T: A clause is a part of a sentence. The defining relative cla

19、use tells us which person or thing(or what kind of person or thing) the speaker means.【设计意图】 情境设问,导入新授内容定语从句。Step 2: PresentationT: (板书) Lets look at the following sentences: 1) On 20th July 1969, Armstrong became the first human that walked on the moon. 2) There are reports that say Armstrong and A
