These also help us to grow and be healthy. They make our bones and skin healthy. If your current way of eating is
3、less than ideal from a healthy point of view, a few simple changes can make all the difference.We all know how to eat, but how many of us know how to follow a healthy diet while still enjoying our food? Its easy to get the impression that everything really tempting and tasty is on the “forbidden” li
4、st, but this is far from being the case. And its not just what you eat that counts, but how prepare and combine the different ingredients and the cooking methods you use. There are three keys to eating both well and enjoyably:1. Buying fresh, nutritious food.2. Eating well-balanced meals that provid

Storing, preparing and cooking food so as to get from it the best possible nourishment.Fresh foodsFoods fresh from nature have many inbuilt benefits. They prompt you to chew, which releases flavor while keeping your teeth and gums clean
6、 and strong. Fresh foods generally contain a balance of nutrients because they have grown as a plant, animal or fish whose needs are not so very different from our own. Many fresh foods contain plenty of fiber that gives them their texture and moistens the food, so aiding digestion and ensuring a sm
7、ooth passage through the intestine. Our bodies have become accustomed to fresh food through millions of years of evolution and it can help us to maintain and improve our health and vitality.In todays time-pressured environment, it is all too easy to rely exclusively on convenience and highly process
8、ed food. However, it is wise to choose fresh, unprocessed foods whenever possible. This need not be difficult: after many years of intensive farming methods, organic and naturally raised foods are again becoming popular and are widely available from supermarkets, many of which run home delivery serv
9、ices to make shopping for fresh foods even easier.Preparation and StorageUnless you are freezing food, try to eat it as soon as possible after buying. Fresh green vegetables in particular lose much of their vitamin content very quickly and do so even faster unless kept in a cool, dark place. Dont leave vegetables to stand in water once you have prepared them and bear in mind that lengthy cooking will destroy many of the beneficial nutrients.
