SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS 1.) 童工准则:1.1 公司不可招用童工或支持招用童工的行为。1.2 公司应该建立、记录、维持有关拯救童工的政策和程序,和有效的传达这些政

2、策和程序给员工和其它利益团体,并且应该提供足够的支持来促使童工接受学校教育,直到他们超过儿童年龄为止。1.3 公司应该建立、记录、维持有关推广童工教育和未成年工教育的政策和程序,并且有效的传达这些政策和程序给员工和其它利益团体,这些政策程序规定下的儿童必须符合国际劳工组织第 146 条条款建议,未成年则属于当地强制教育法律规定下的年龄或正在求学当中。政策和程序应该包括具体措施来确保在上课时间内不招用童工或未成年工,而且童工和未成年工的每日交通(来回工作地点和学校)、上单和工作时间加起来不得超过十小时。1.4 公司不可置儿童或未成年工人于工作环境内外任何具危险性、不安全性或不健康的情况之下。1.

3、 CHILD LABOR Criteria:1.1 The company shall not engage in or support the use of child labor as defined above; 1.2 The company shall establish, document, maintain, and effectively communicate to personnel and other interested parties policies and procedures for remediation of children found to be wor

4、king in situations which fit the definition of child labour above, and shall provide adequate support to enable such children to attend and remain in school until no longer a child as defined above.1.3 The company shall establish, document, maintain, and effectively communicate to personnel and othe

5、r interested parties policies and procedures for promotion of education for children covered under ILO Recommendation 146 and young workers who are subject to local compulsory education laws or are attending school, including means to ensure that no such child or young worker is employed during scho

6、ol hours and that combined hours of daily transportation (to and from work and school), school, and work time does not exceed 10 hours a day.1.4 The company shall not expose children or young workers to situations in or outside of the workplace that are hazardous, unsafe, or unhealthy.2.) 强迫性劳动准则:2.

FORCED LABOUR Criterion:2.1 the company shall not engage in or support the use of forced labour, nor shall personnel be required to lodge deposits or identity papers upon commencing employment with the company.3.) 健康与安全准则:3.1 公司应该考虑到工业中普遍认知的危险和任何特定的危险。而

HEALTH AND SAFETY Criteria: 3.1 The company, bearing in mind the prevailing knowledge of the industry and of any specific hazards, shall provide a safe and healthy working environment and shall take adequate steps to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out of, associ

10、ated with or occurring in the course of work, by minimizing, so far as is reasonably practicable, the causes of hazards inherent the working environment; 3.2 The company shall appoint a senior management representative responsible for the health and safety of all personnel, and accountable for the i

11、mplementation of the Health and Safety elements of this standard; 3.3 The company shall ensure that all personnel receive regular and recorded health and safety training, and that such training is repeated for new and reassigned personnel; 3.4 The company shall establish systems to detect, avoid or

12、respond to potential threats to the health and safety of all personnel; 3.5 The company shall provide, for use by all personnel, clean bathrooms, access to potable water, and, if appropriate, sanitary facilities for food storage; 3.6 The company shall ensure that, if provided for personnel, dormitor

13、y facilities are clean, safe, and meet the basic needs of the personnel.4.) 组织工会的自由与集体谈判的权利准则:4.1 公司应该尊重所有员工自由成立和参加工会,以及集体谈判的权利。4.2 当自由组织工会和集体谈判的权利受到法律限制的时候,公司应该协助员工采用类似的方法来达到独立和自由的联合和谈判的目的。4.3 公司应该确保工会代表不受歧视,并且在工作环境中能够接触工会的会员。4. FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION 4.2 The company shall, in those situations in w

14、hich the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining are restricted under law, facilitate parallel means of independent and free association and bargaining for all such personnel; 4.3 The company shall ensure that representatives of such personnel are not the subject of discrimination

15、and that such representatives have access to their members in the workplace, 5.) 歧视准则:5.1 公司在聘用、报酬、训练机会、升级、解聘或退休等事务上,不可从事或支持任何基于种族、社会阶级、国籍、宗教、残疾、性别、性别取向、工会会员资格或政治关系的歧视行为。5.2 公司不可干涉员工遵奉涉及种族、社会阶级、国籍、宗教、残疾、性别、性别取向和工会的信条、规范或要求的权利。5.3 公司不可允许带有强迫性、威胁性、凌辱性或剥削性的性侵犯行为,包括姿势、语言和实际的接触。5. DISCRIMINATION Criteria

16、: 5.1 The company shall not engage in or support discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement based on race, caste, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, or political affiliation; 5.2 The company shall

17、 not interfere with the exercise of the rights of personnel to observe tenets or practices, or to meet needs relating to race, caste, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, or political affiliation. 5.3 The company shall not allow behaviour, including ge

18、stures, language and physical contact, that is sexually coercive, threatening, abusive or exploitative. 6.) 惩罚性措施准则:6.1 公司不可从事或支持肉体上的惩罚、心理或生理上的压制,和语言上的凌辱。6. DISCIPLINARY PRACTICES Criterion: 6.1 The company shall not engage in or support the use of corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, a

19、nd verbal abuse. 7.) 工作时间准则:7.1 公司应该遵守适用法律规定下的合乎产业标准的工作时问:在任何情况下,不可经常要求员工一个星期内的工作时间超过四十八小时,并且应该确保员工每七天之内至少有一天的休息时间。7.2 公司应该确保每一员工的加班加点时间工作(一星期超过四十八小时) 一星期不得超过十二个小时。除非在特殊和短期的业务情形之下,公司不应要求员工加班加点,并且应该无例外地对加班加点支付出加班津贴。7. WORKING HQURS Criteria: 7.1 The company shall comply with applicable laws and indus

20、try standards on working hours; in any event, personnel shall not, on a regular basis, be required to work in excess of 48 hours per week and shall be provided with at least one day off for every seven day period. 7.2 The company shall ensure that overtime work (more than 48 hours per week) does not

21、 exceed 12 hours per employee per week, is not demanded other than in exceptional and short-term business circumstances, and is always remunerated at a premium rate. 8.) 工资报酬准则:8.1 公司应该确保所支付的标准工作星期的工资至少能够达到法律或产业规定的最低工资标准,而且它支付的工资应该总是足以满足员工的基本需求,和提供一些可随意支配的收入。8.2 公司应该确保不会为了惩罚的目的而扣减工资,并且确保定期和清楚地列明工资和福

COMPENSATION Criteria:8.1 The company shall ensure that wages paid for a standard working week shall meet at least legal or industry minimum standards and shall always be suffici

23、ent to meet basic needs of personnel and to provide some discretionary income; 8.2 The company shall ensure that deductions from wages are not made for disciplinary purposes, and shall ensure that wage and benefits composition are detailed clearly and regularly for workers; the company shall also en

24、sure that wages and benefits are rendered in full compliance with all applicable laws and that compensation is rendered either in cash or check form, in a manner convenient to workers; 8.3 The company shall ensure that labour-only contracting arrangements and false apprenticeship schemes are not und

25、ertaken in an effort to avoid fulfilling its obligations to personnel under applicable laws pertaining to labor and social security legislation and regulations. 9.) 管理系统准则:9. 27、cludes a commitment to conform to all requirements of this standard; b) includes a commitment to comply with national and other applicable law, other requirements to which the company subscribes and to respect the international instruments and their interpretation(as listed in Section II); c) includ

28、es a commitment to continual improvement; d) is effectively documented, implemented, maintained, communicated and is accessible in a comprehensible form to all personnel, including, directors, executives, management, supervisors, and staff, whether directly employed, contracted or otherwise represen

29、ting the company; e) is publicly available, 管理审查9.2 管理高层应该定期评审公司的政策、程序和表现结果,本标准和公司签署的其它规章,判定其是否充分;合适和持续有效。在必要的时候,应该做系统的修正和改进。Management Review 9.2 Top management shall periodically review the adequacy, suitability, and continuing effectiveness of the companys policy, procedures and performance resul

30、ts vis a vis the requirements of this standard and other requirements to which the company subscribes. 31、sentatives9.3 The company shall appoint a senior management representative who, irrespective of other responsibilities, shall ensure that the requirements of this standard are met;9.4 The company shall provide for non-management personnel to choose a representative from their own group to facilitate

33、t the requirements of this standard are understood and implemented at all levels of the organization; methods shall include, but are not limited to: a) clear definition of roles, responsibilities and authority; b) training of new and/or temporary employees upon hiring; c) periodic training and aware

34、ness programs for existing employees; d) continuous monitoring of activities and results to demonstrate the effectiveness of systems implemented to meet the companys policy and the requirements of this standard; 对供货商的管制9.6 公司应该建立和维持适当的程序,根据供货商达到本标准的能力,来评估和挑选供货商。9.7 公司应该维持适当的记录,记载供货商对社会责任的许诺,包括但不限于下列

36、irements of this standard; 9.7 The company shall maintain appropriate records of suppliers commitment to social accountability, including, but not limited to, the suppliers written commitment to: b) participate in the companys monitoring activities as requested; c) promptly remediate any nonconforma

37、nce identified against the requirements of this standard; d) promptly and completely inform the company of any and ail relevant business relationship(s) with other supplier(s) and subcontractor(s) ; 9.8 The company shall maintain reasonable evidence that the requirements of this standard are being m

38、et by suppliers and subcontractors. 处理疑虑和采取纠正行动9.9 当员工和其它利益团体质疑公司是否符合公司政策和/ 或本标准规定的事项之时,公司应该调查、处理和做出反应;员工如果提供关于公司是否遵守本标准的资料,公司不可对其采取惩罚、解雇或歧视的行为。9.10 如果发现任何违反公司政策或本标准规定的事项,公司应该根据法规事项的性质和严重性,分配相应的资源实施适当的补救和纠正行动。Addressing Concerns and Taking Corrective Action 9.9 The company shall investigate, address

39、, and respond to the concerns of employees and other interested parties with regard to conformance/nonconformance with the companys policy and/or the requirements of this standard; the company shall refrain from disciplining, dismissing or otherwise discriminating against any employee for providing

40、information concerning observance of the standard. 9.10 The company shall implement remedial and corrective action and allocate adequate resources appropriate to the nature and severity of any nonconformance identified against the companys policy and/or the requirements of the standard. 对外沟通9.11 公司应

42、luding, hut not limited to, the results of management reviews and monit6nng activities. 查证管道9.12 如果合约有此要求,公司应该对利益团体提供合理的资料和取得资料的管道,以求证公司是否符合本标准规定;如果合约中有进一步的要求,公司应该透过采购合约的条文,要求供货商和分包商提供以上相同的管道和安排。Access for Verification 9.12 Where required by contract, the company shall provide reasonable information

43、 and access to interested parties seeking to verify conformance to the requirements of this standard; where further required by contract, similar information and access shall also be afforded by the companys suppliers and subcontractors through the incorporation of such a requirement in the companys
