By comparing the different translated versions of Shenghengman under the direction of the three basic rules of Skopostheory, this paper reveals the fact that the translators can apply different stratgies in translation so as
4、 to present a variety of tranlation styles and achieve different transltion effects. Generally speaking, most translations have achieved their purpose of the translation and meet the expectations of different readers, so they have been well-received by contemporary readers. 5、ms to propose: it is actually incomplete if the evaluation of a translation version is simply on the comparison between the orginal and the targeted. Instead, it should focus more on the translator, targeted reader and the effects which historical and culutral factors have on the version so as to re
