2、ized competence, manageable abilities, professional qualities and so forth. The professional qualities play a significant role among them. And the so-called teachers professional quality refers to the stable and necessary part of occupational qualities in the course of teaching, including correct ed
3、ucation concept, noble ethnics of teachers, profound knowledge healthy constitution and so on; meanwhile, it is also the comprehensive reflection on the teachers professional image and knowledge of teaching. Whats more, a scholar (Zhao Zhongjian, 2003) pointed that teachers were especially important
4、 in terms of the necessary demands between reform techniques and vocational education. Hence, it directly determines the development of education and the improvement of educational level whether teachers are equipped with excellent professional qualities or not.According to the new curriculum reform
5、 in China, it is much more important for English teachers in senior high school to possess the basic professional qualities. Therefore, people should pay much attention to the teachers specialized development. As long as teachers are equipped with abundant knowledge, they will provide too much for s
6、tudents make a contribution to society. Some researchers (Ye Lan, Bai Yimin, Tao Zhiqiong,2001) illustrated that the teacher should be regarded as an energetic man, which aims at emphasizing the sensibility that teachers are aware of educational significance around the teaching circumstances. And Gu
7、y Thomas (1998) have pointed that one of important transformations of teachers development is to change the concerned focus from individual effort into communities of learners. In this condition, teachers nourish their own teaching knowledge and practical intelligence through participating in collab
8、orative practice.As an English teacher in senior high school, they should do their best to foster their 2professional qualities to set a good example to students so that students can become interested in their courses. Firstly, the teacher should shoulder intense responsibilities. Secondly, they sho
9、uld hold a positive and optimistic attitude toward teaching. Besides, they should treat each student equally. Hence, training before teaching is extremely important. A research in Danmark (2002) and a scholar (Papier Joy, 2010) pointed that most countries focus on training teachers basic teaching sk
10、ills. Whats more, most enterprises also undertake to provide training courses for occupational education and training teachers, aiming at accelerating the development of the teachers knowledge level. However, the promotion of teachers quality cannot be finished in a one or two days, but need spend m
11、uch more time on constant practice to conclude experience and grope an appropriate and satisfying teaching method. A research (Zhang Zhengzhi and He Meilong, 2004) indicates that much attention should be paid to cultivating developing teachers in the process of teacher-growth. Developing teacher str
12、esses on qualities of sustainable development; not only is it suitable for professors and researchers, but also it is apt to ordinary teachers who have just stepped into their teaching career. However, in order to keep this sustainable development, another opinion (Zhao Xuechun, 2007; Ji Aiyun, 2012
13、) demonstrated that professional teachers should pay much attention to the development of specialized abilities. Therefore, it is pretty significant for an English teacher in senior high school to foster high qualities.No matter how the developing teachers cultivation and the mould of professional q
14、ualities, teachers try their best to make innovations and make self-development; meanwhile, they break out the boring and traditional teaching method under the indication of new curriculum reform. At present, the whole classroom atmosphere is extremely active and full of pleasure. Nonetheless, there
15、 are also some disadvantages. On the one hand, lots of English teachers separate students into several groups to discuss a certain topic or make an activity in the classroom, there is no doubt that this teaching method provides much more time for students to think and innovate lonely, but it also ev
16、okes the class chaos. As for some students who cannot control themselves, they will not be able to wander in activities so deeply that they cannot 3concentrate on class. So it will not reach the teaching goal. On the other hand, some teachers are extremely irresponsible for their work. They have def
17、ect in the teacher basic professional knowledge and only imitate the forms of new curriculum reform but neglect the nature.
