1、Communist Party of India (Maoist)Maoism and terrorism in South Asia The South Asian nations have vowed an unrelenting fight against terrorism which they have called a major threat in the region. They have vowed to combat it unitedly and they have showed determination not to rest till the terrorism i

Two countries in South Asia luckily have not faced terrorism yet, but should terrorism flare up, the whole region will be infest

They are not doing enough to attack the terrorist masterminds to dry up the sources of terrorism. In the aftermath of war in Afghan

Most of the Al-Qaeda operatives and masterminds have been nabbed and their terrorist networks ha

Its cooperation with the international community reflects its shared determination to work together to eliminate international terrorism. Pakistan is doin

Had Indian governments taken strong and committed leadership like President Musharraf does in Pakistan, the situation in Nepal would have been better off. Followi

India is aware of the fact that Maoists problem in Nepal is also a threat to the democratic develop

Nepalese Maoists facilitated access for Indian Maoists and other terrorist operatives into Nepal in exchange for weapons and other interests. Nepalese Maoists too have connections to terrorist activities in India. Though Indi

Inaction, irresponsible and megalomaniac attitude of India would be fatal to India itself and to other neighbouring countries as wel

India has the greater responsibility since it is the largest country in the region. It seems that India is not sincere in resolving the Maoists

Nepal does not seek words of assurance, but an honest cooperation from India. Nepal is burning but India gives two buckets of wate

Obviously, India is benefiting from the ongoing Maoist insurgency in Nepal. Tourism, investment in education sector, business opportunities have totally

Had India stopped Maoists infiltration into Indian territory, done enough to stop arms trafficking into Nepal, cracked down on Maoists insurgency in India, nabbed top Nepalese Maoists operatives hiding in India, pressurised Maoists to come to the political mainstream, the Mao

14、ists problem in Nepal would already have been resolved. Maoists in Nepal, like other misanthropic and monstrous terrorist outfits, have increased the rate of cruelty and atrocities across the country. Whosoever has given the name Prachanda to the Nepalese Maoists supremo Pushpa Kamal Dahal, s/he was

15、 somehow right. He is a fierce one, but only to the helpless, honest, innocent, underprivileged, down-trodden, marginalized, poverty-striken Nepalese people. Of course, he can be called brave and fierce in manipulating innocent and helpless people and killing innocent human beings to advance his so

I have doubts that Maoists have an affinity with such rogues, who must have been financing terrorism. The picture is clear. This is why these rogues have never been tou

At a time when the world has condemned the brutal and gruesome slaughter of innocent Nepalese workers in Iraq, Prachanda, another psychopath also shed crocodile tears over the killing of Nepali citizens. What an irony ! What a ridicule ! Prachanda has adopted the same modus oper

Nepalese youth have been compelled to flee the country due to Maoists terrorist threat, some of them have unfortunately fallen captive to

Maoists activities have shown that they are cold-blooded killers who have an intense desire to inflict an awful lot of pa

Political leaders, human rights activists, intellectuals, civil society, international communities have utterly failed to convince Maoists to shun terrorist activities and accept all human rights and humanitarian laws including the Geneva Convention of 1949. I ask Maoists symphathisers, supporters, adherents and self-proclaimed pro-Maoists Human Rights avtivists, why they are backing and whipping up the sentiments of Maoists supremos

My understanding is that such people are doing so out of fanatical euphoria for the benefit of their personal gain. Will the Nepalese people accept it when their fundamental freedom is repressed? Due to ongoing Maoists insurgency, Nepal is heading towards a lawless, weak a

The terrorists do not respect the political frontiers. They move clandestinely with false documents from one

Our democratic culture says that political power is the will of the people expressed through elections. In our widely accepted system, the political leaders

We are not going to give up this system at any cost. The vicious attack and cold-blooded murders cannot break the will of the South Asian people. We are c

27、ommitted to peace and development. We are not going to yield to terrorists no matter how ruthless they are. Compromising with terrorists in fact will only encourage more terrorism. Now it is absolutely imperative that all matters that can be linked to terrorist activities should be a priority for the security of this region. Given the enormity and complexity of the situation in this region, the end of terrorism is imperative. It must be stopped so a safe society can blossom. If that doesnt happen, the South Asian people will be at the mercy of terrorists.
