There are velocity analysis modules in enterprise software such as Vista, most of which can only be used to do velocity analysis on PP data. They are limited b

And most of those are developed to process seismic reflection data in oil exploring, without the function of velocity analysis on conver

It is an open module which can be planted in other software. It is mainly designed to be used to do velocity analysis on PP and PSV data in

The module does velocity analysis by the use of theory on velocity analysis with selected-correlation method (Liming Wang, Qingchun Li, 2006). We realize interactive velocity analysis by combining graph

It improves efficiency and accuracy of velocity analysis by setting parameters and reading stacking velocity files repeatedly and interactive dialog with user. We pick up velocity by the way of constant velocity scan, and then judge whether information picked up such as velocity ,time and gather number is correct accor

Velocity spectrum Spectrum in general includes stacking velocity spectrum K, correlation spectrum A and semblance spectrum cS , and the corresponding expressions are as follows(Deji Huang, Zhenhua He, J

In this module, another method of velocity spectrum with high accuracy, selective- correlation method, is used. It calculates value of energy according to selected-correlation-sum approach (given in Formula 4)( Valmore Celis and Ken Larner, 2002): Main Menu ID: 1197 CPS/SEG Beijing 2009 International Geophysical Conference . 9 m . : , 2004
