7、 from the 20th century.It has been one of the focuses of teaching researches,more and more educational workers,including instructors and researchers at all levels and front-line teachers have focused on effective teaching,make the effective classroom teaching become one of the important goal of educ

8、ational reform today. There has not been a unified point of view on the concept of effective teaching.Throughout the point of view on domestic and foreign scholars,there ars two kinds of definition of effective teaching.One is from the relation between teaching input and teaching output.This kind of

9、 definition mainly include:effective teaching means to have the best result of teaching in a certain teaching investment like time,energy,effort,which is highly effective teaching(Yao,2001);Effective teaching refers to obtain teaching effect as much as possible with less teaching investment ,so as t

10、o realize the teaching goal ,meet the demand of social and personal education(Cheng,1998). Another definition from the learning and development of students,as the starting point of effective teaching,some scholars think:effective teaching is the effectiveness through teaching process,in accordance w

11、ith teaching rule,succeeded in maintaining and promoting the studentslearning,to achieve the expected teaching effectively(Yao,2004).But some other scholars hold that effective teaching can inspire students study desire,promote students to positively master knowledge and team work,and the establishm

12、ent of lifelong learning attitude of teaching and learning(Koppi,1997).The theory and practice of effective teaching in domestic has a certain foundation.Access to the relevant documentation,you can find that the research on effective teaching is mainly distributed in China in the 1990 s.Chen Qi,Liu

13、 Rude editor of Contemporary Educational Psychology, (Beijing Normal University Press, 1997), dedicates a chapter on effective teaching, this is the first discussion of effective teaching. Zhang Lu .Discussions on the Standards of Effective Teaching (education theory and practice,2000), the effectiv

14、e teaching in classroom is divided into two dimensions, basic and expansibility, from the teaching standard,teaching content and teaching method, and introduces a study of effective teaching standard.“Effective teaching” is a essential pursuit of teaching activities, Comenius from considering effect

15、ive teaching and put forward “class teaching scale” .It achieves the purpose that a teacher can teach many students at the same time.Dewey (Dewey, J., 1930) from “people problems”, “education and life” perspective to consider the way of effective teaching 7way,proposed “education is life”, “educatio

16、n is growth”, “education is the experience of transformation”, which developed way of teaching and study way to correct the traditional education in the popular teaching methods, which it shows its charm in the current new curriculum reform.According the English curriculum standard,we an see that th

17、e overall goal of teaching in junior middle school English is to cultivate studentscomprehensive ability of using language, and the formation of this ability is based on the students language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitude,learning strategies and cultural awareness.Language knowledge

18、 and language skills are the foundation of comprehensive language application ability,Emotional attitude is the important factor that affects students learning and development;Learning strategy is to improve the learning efficiency, ensure the development of autonomous learning ability;Cultural cons

Under the new curriculum concept, teaching is more effective to weight by English teachers in junior middle school.Teachers teaching behavior and the students learning styles as well as the status of teac

26、hers and students in the classroom will be larger changes accordingly.But in a lot of achievements,its hard to avoid some problems.Combined with the features of effective teaching in junior middle school English , found the former English teaching has problems:different language proficiency by teach

27、ers;the subjectivity of the students;Improper use of the multimedia and so on.The realization of effective teaching is not only the basis of education curriculum reform, it is the teachersurgent need for the heart. This topic research is helpful to promote the implementation of curriculum reform, to

Through the study of this subject, the current understanding of the classroom teaching, especially the current status of English teaching,exploring problems of teaching in junior middle school English an
