Trademark has tremendous effects on the choices of consumers. Hence, some immoral companies by using others trademark to sell their unqualified
3、 imitative commodities .,2. The significance of this study,Trademark law offers the unique legal basis on those disputes. For this reason, trade needs accurate and not controversial translation Scripts. At first ,we should analyze the current translation version, Then make a conclusion of its advant
4、ages and disadvantages. By this way to suggest its translation trends in the future.,The ultimate significance is that offer accurate legal basis between foreign countries. Each foreign country needs to know Chinese trademark law well and maintain their rights and obligation to protect themselves an
5、d avoid other companies infringing acts.,3. Prior studiesTrademark law is a branch of Intellectual property law(IP laws). Major studies are about the feature of comprehensive IP law, rarely about the trademark law specifically.,Current study: *Features of the intellectual property rights of English
6、text and translation problems. *Compare the stylistic features of China Trademark Law Executive Regulations and Enforcement Act of the United States. *Relevance Theory in the trademark law translation.,4.content,I want to confirm the advantage and rationality of these rules in translating vocabulary
7、, sentence and textual structure translation. I use theorys three main rules to analyze the trademark laws E-C translation. I analyze at vocabulary, sentence and textual structure level. vocabulary(nouns/fidelity rule), sentence (passive voice/skopos rule) , textual structure (typical textual struct
8、ure/coherence rule),Theory,Skopos theory: The main idea is that translators should hold the thought from the perspective of the target readers during the process of translation. Consequently, the choice of translation strategies is decided by the purpose of the translation text, in order to achieve
9、a better function text. *what the function of translation text is,*what the target readers demand is,Theory Three main rules,skopos rule(目的原则), coherence rule(连贯原则)and fidelity rule(忠实原则) 1) the skopos rule :translation strategies and methods are determined by the purpose and the intended function o
