2、d 1 grammar point in this lesson.It introduces some great people and great inventions of ancient China.The teaching material aims at students in Grade Ten.These students are eager to know things out of there field of vision,such as this lesson.So they will be very glad and active to take part in act
3、ivities in class.But the situation of these students is polarization.There are two reasons about this.The first one is that they cant remember a large number of vocabularies.The second one is about the learning strategies,students cant use them effectively.According to this situation ,I design teach
4、ing aims from3aspects.In knowledge aim,I should help students master the new words,phases and sentence patterns in this module.About ability aim,students are supposed to improve their ability of communicating.At the same time,they should know information of great people and great inventions of ancie
5、nt China.In emotional aim,I will lead the students to realize the ancient China deeper.Thus they can broaden their horizon,understand ancient cultures and strengthen the consciousness of natural culture.2The important points in this module are key words and defining attributive clauses.I will achiev
6、e these points through classroom questions.Then the difficult point is how to let the students use the defining attributive clauses to communicate with others.What more,they are also supposed to use it in their writing.In order to break through this difficult point,I will make a scene in my teaching
7、 process and set up key words in writing process.According to teaching material and students,I use the teaching methods as follows:1. Communicative Approach(交际教学法)2. Whole Language Teaching(整体语言教学法)3. Task-based Language Teaching (任务教学法)4. Total Situational Action (情景教学) Now lets come to my teaching
8、 procedurelead- in At the very beginning of the class, I should spark the students mind to focus on the central topic”great people and great inventions of ancient China” .I will show the photos of great people ,just like Confucius,Mencius,Mozi and so on. then ask students:Can you recognize them? Who
9、 are they?After answering the questions, the students will be eager to know something about great people, and this is 3the very time to lead the class into next stepWhile-reading In this step, I will divide students in 4 groups and give them clear and specific purposes while they are reading. Task o
10、ne :structure and main idea of each paragraphThe students will be asked to discuss in groups.They should divide the text in several parts and conclude the main idea of each paragraph.The purpose of this task is to develop students reading skills by fast reading. Task two: details In this section,stu
11、dents should read each paragraph carefully in order to finish some exercises I give them on the blackboard.Just like judging T or F,filling the charts,alternative choices and so on.And then,talk the answers with their partners.The purpose of this task is to encourage students to express their though
12、ts in English.After our learning ,we should know that Language is learned by communication. So creating an atmosphere for students to use the language is necessary. Here I design a activities.
