2、的技能,特别是用英语处理与未来铁路各岗位相关业务的能力。铁路高职英语课程以工作交流为目标, 以应用为目的,培养学生实际应用英语的能力,特别是听说能力,使学生能在日常活动和与未来铁路工作相关的业务活动中进行一般的口头和书面交流;同时掌握有效的学习方法,增强自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养;为提升就业竞争力及今后的可持续发展打下良好的基础。第一部分学习目的是巩固和规范英语基础知识,掌握、运用涉及日常生活中的衣食住行、通讯、游览、购物、求医、求职等话题的英语交流技能,并密切联系铁路各专业实际进行理解、渗透;第二部分重点学习目的是掌握铁路客运、货运、机车、电信、工程部门可能用到的英语知识和技能,教会学生

3、运用所学英语来面对社会生活和未来岗位工作需要,培养锻炼在实际工作岗位实际应用英语的能力,及继续学习能力。第三部分,通过学习、训练参加高等学校英语应用能力考试,检验能力水平。二、学习能力目标1、总体目标:巩固掌握英语基础知识和技能,具有一定的铁路专业英语听、说、读、写能力,在日常活动和铁路工作情境下中进行简单的英语口头交流,为今后进一步提高英语交际、应用能力打下基础。2、具体目标:1)能听懂日常和铁路业务活动中使用的结构简单、发音清楚、普通语速的英语对话和不太复杂的陈述,理解基本正确。2)能用英语进行一般交际和社会活动交流,并能在日常和铁路工作中进行简单的交流。3)能阅读中等难度、一般题材的简短

4、英文资料,理解正确,在英文资料阅读中保证速度,能读懂简短的科技材料。4)能就一般性题材写出简洁的命题作文;能填写和模拟套写简短的英语应用文,如填写货运表格与单证、仿写、套写简历、通知、信函等,词句基本正确,无重大语法错误,格式恰当,表达清楚。三、知识目标第一部分重点掌握课文中的语言点及“高等学校英语应用能力考试”大纲 A 级所要求的词汇。第二部分重点掌握铁路业务相关对话及资料翻译。四、素质目标41、学会英语语言知识和在铁路工作中的应用方法,适应岗位需要。2、掌握运用外语交际的能力及与人沟通的能力,提高综合素质。五、课程基本要求坚持学用结合、学用一致的原则,要求掌握 3000 以上词汇,复习巩固

5、语音语法、词汇知识,扩展简单句、并列句和基本复合句句法,注重听、说、读、写、译基本技能的训练,在日常交际、铁路业务与办公、求学求职、购物游览、查询处理信息等方面词汇量最低达到 3500,把日常交流和语言基本功训练与铁路实际应用结合起来,能够听懂和口头、书面表达上述相关话题内容,突出综合应用能力。六、课程学习方法前两部分的教材情境真实,对话典型,趣味性和可模拟性比较强,所选用的语言材料和工作场景符合实际交际与应用需要,所以要求同学们:1. 认真阅读学习指导书,了解学习目的、任务和要求,设定学习目标,按照记忆规律制定背单词计划,科学安排和保证学习时间。2. 反复朗读课文,听读录音和参看光盘,吃透教

6、材、强化记忆,从模拟套用句型、段落入手,结合生活、工作实际,练习扩展和举一反三。3. 学习指南编写由浅入深,基础部分是字词解析,其后句子阅读以应用文体为主,同学们可根据个人实际情况逐渐加大口语练习量,循序渐进适应各种话题,形成面对和解决、处理综合复杂问题的反应能力。4. 认真完成第三部分模拟练习再核对答案、阅读解析指导,在学习和完成习题过程中遇到问题,可查阅词典、相互讨论,也可通过电话和网络方式与教师取得联系,获得辅导和答疑帮助。5. 提倡小组合作学习,同学们自愿组合,互相检查背诵课文及习题的正确率,分析存在的问题,共同进步。七、选用教材及参考书本课程选用教材为孔庆炎 刘鸿章主编的“十一五 ”

7、国家级规划教材- 高等教育出版社新 编 实 用 英 语 ( 第 二 版 ) 1-2 册,与魏宏主编的、北京交大和清华大学出版社实用铁路交通英语 。教材侧重提高新 编 实 用 英 语 ( 第 二 版 ) 通用词汇表的词汇覆盖率,加强句子和语篇水平的操练。推荐参考书目:配套新 编 实 用 英 语 ( 第 二 版 ) 教师用书第 12 册, 新编 实 用 英 语 ( 第 二 版 ) 学学 练练 考考 第 1-2 册。5第 一 部 分 : 新 编 实 用 英 语 学 习 指 南新 编 实 用 英 语 ( 第 二 版 ) 第一册学习指南Unit 1 Greeting and Introducing Pe
