7、疑问句用来表示“什么时候”,即对时间提问。其结构为: When一般疑问句。如:-When do you play football? 你什么时候踢足球?-In the afternoon.下午。11th 是序数词 eleventh 的简写形式,此句中 11th 用来表示日期,注意 November 11th 可以读作 November the eleventh/the eleventh of November/(US) November eleventh。2.-What year were you born? 我出生在哪一年?-I was born in我出生在句中的 was, were 分别

8、是动词 be 的过去式的单复数形式,它表示句中谓语动词的动作发生在过去。born 是动词 bear 的过去分词,was/were born 通常译作“ 出生于(在)”。in 后面加年份或月份。如: in 2003 在2003 年 in May 在5 月3.How old are you? 你多大了?在谈论岁数、年纪大小时,一般用 old 或 young 。 “How old are you?”这一问句问的是“你多大了?”或“你多大年龄了?”, “how old”是“多少岁,多大年龄”。回答这一问句最简单的方法是在“ Im ”后面加一个数就可表示年龄了。例如“我11岁了”,可以说“Im elev

9、en.”如:-How old are you? 你几岁了。-Im twelve. 我12岁了。若精确到月份,则说 Imyears and months old.4.What events do you have at your school? 你们学校里有什么活动吗?(1)此句是特殊疑问词 what被限定修饰的名词一般疑问句形式。如:What class are you in? 你在哪一班?event 意为“重要事件 (活动)”或“比赛项目”。at 后面可加表示地点的名词,in 也可以加表示地点的名词,但 at 通常接station,school,village 等表示小范围的地点名词,而 i

10、n 后面一般接国家、城市等表示大范围的地点名词。如:at Zhongguan village in Beijing 在北京中关村5It s in April. 在四月。在某月,用介词 in,注意月份前不加冠词。若说在四月一日,则说 on April 1st. April Fools Day/All FoolsDay 1 April 愚人节(4月1 日) ;April Fool(4月1日愚人节)受愚弄的人。三、工具箱英语日期的表示法英语中月份和星期名称都是专有名词,它们的首字母必须大写,并且前面无需用冠词。用英语表示日期,其顺序为“月日年”,日和年之间需用逗号隔开。如:August 2nd,20

11、03(2003年8月2日)。也可以用 “日月年”来表示。如:10th May,2003(2003年5月10日)。英语日期前介词的使用:若指在哪一年或哪一月,则用介词 in,若具体到某一天,则需用介词 on。如:She was born in 1989She was born in August.She was born in August 1989.She was born on 2nd August, 1989.一至十二月份的名称可以缩写为前三个字母,但 September 需缩写为前四个字母。如:January(Jan.) September(Sept.)四、重难点密室名词所有格形式:表示

12、有生命的名词与后面名词的所有关系。分为:(1)名词s 所有格见下表:名词s 所有格单数名词后直接加s Jims coat 吉姆的外套 Jeffs mother杰夫的妈妈以 s 结尾的复数名词,只加“” TeachersDay 教师节 the twins books 双胞胎的书不以 s 结尾的不规则的名词复数,加 “s” Childrens Day 儿童节? mens shoes 男式鞋表示两者共同拥有时,只在最后一个名词后加s 表示两者各自拥有时,要在每个名词后加s Lucy and Lilys mother 露茜和莉莉的妈妈 Lucys and Kates rooms 露茜和凯特的房间注:表

13、示时间、距离、国家、城市等无生命的名词也可以使用名词s 所有格。如:a few years time 几年的时间ten minutes walk 十分钟的行程todays newpaper 今天的报纸the citys life 城市的生活Chinas population 中国的人口有些名词表示家宅、诊所、商店时,常去掉后面被修饰的词。如:at the doctors 在诊所to my uncles 到我叔叔家of 所有格:动物和无生命的名词所有格一般使用介词 of 短语来表示。如:the name of her cat 她的猫的名字a picture of our school 一张我们学
