2、Machines From October 2000 (No.1) Yoshida SakaiCF2165-901A-02For Electronic Distribution Z-axis zero return position adjustment is required following servomotor/pulse-coder replacement or loss of parameter data. “ Z70 ABS. ILLEGAL 000n Z ” is displayed on the NC ALARM screen. Establishment of the Z-

3、axis zero return position is necessary. Establishment and Adjustment of the zero return position for Z-axis using following procedure. Determinant of Z-axis zero return position based on Spindle Large Nose. For checking distance from Spindle Large Nose to zero return position, need to remove the chu

4、ck from the machine. So this manual considers zero point reference indexes (zero point index marks) is Z-axis zero return position. (Refer to on last pages about exact distance from Spindle Large Nose to zero return position.) 1. Set the “ ZERO POINT ADJUSTMENT ” to “ VALID ” on OPERATION PANEL scre

5、en to enable axis travel. 2. Position the Z-axis to the machine zero point (Z-axis zero point index marks matches). 3. Display the ABS. POSITION SET (Absolute Position Set) screen. 4. Perform Z-axis initial setting on ABS. POSITION SET screen. 5. Set the Z-axis “ ORIG-RTN ” (Origin Return) on ABS. P

6、OSITION SET screen. 6. Establish of the Z-axis zero return position. 7. Reset the NC power following zero return position establishment. 8. Following power on, perform Z-axis zero return operation to confirm positioning. 9. Check the operation of the Z-axis in both of Manual and MDI operation. No. N

ILLEGAL 000n Z ” is displayed on the NC ALARM screen, set the “ ZERO POINT ADJUSTMENT ” to “ VALID ” on OPERATION PANEL screen in acco

8、rding to the following steps 1.1 1.5. When changing zero return position (NC alarm not displayed), go to step 2. In the case of MSG-805, 803 (machine with former type of MAPPS operation panel): Press SETTING function key function key F1 “ OPE. PANEL ” to display the OPERATION PANEL screen, and set t

9、he “ ZERO POSITION SET ” to “ VALID ”. 1.1 Press the SETTING function key to display the SETTING screen. 1.2 Press the F1 “ OPE. PANEL ” (Operation Panel) function key on SETTING screen. 1.3 The function key menu is changed as indicated below. Press the F6 “ OPE PANEL ” function key to display the O

10、PERATION PANEL screen. 1.4 Move the cursor to the “ ZERO POINT ADJUSTMENT ” using cursor movement keys on OPERATION PANEL screen. 1.5 When the cursor is aligned with “ ZERO POINT ADJUSTMENT ”, press the cursor movement key to select “ VALID ”. Position the Z-axis to the machine zero point in according to the following steps 2.1 2.3. 2.1 Press the H (Handle) mode selection switch to select the Handle mode. 2.2 Move the Z-axis to the machine zero p

13、oint (where Z-axis zero point index marks matches) using manual pulse generator. In the case of no zero point index marks and checking the zero return position using the distance from the spindle large nose, refer to on the last page. 2.3 Set the Z-axis “ RELATIVE COORDINATE ” value to “ 0.000 ” at

14、the Z-axis machine zero point in according to the following steps 2.3.1 2.3.3. 2.3.1 Press the POS (Position) function key to display the CURRENT POSITION screen. 2.3.2 Press the F2 “ REL. ” (Relative) function key on CURRENT POSITION screen to display the “ RELATIVE COORDINATE ” screen. 2.3.3 Input

15、 W J (relative coordinate of Z-axis) using data input keys and press the F10 “ ORIGIN ” function key on “ RELATIVE COORDINATE ” screen. The W-axis coordinate value (Z-axis relative coordinate value) is set to “ 0.000 ”. The position traveled by the Z-axis is to be established as the Z-axis zero retu

17、 Position for Z-Axis CF2165-901A-023. Display the ABS. POSITION SET (Absolute Position Set) screen in according to the following steps 3.1 3.5. In the case of MSG-805, 803 (machine with former type of MAPPS operation panel): Press SYSTEM function key function key F3 “ NC SYSTEM ” to display the NC S

18、YSTEM screen, then input 2 and press the INPUT button to display the MESSAGE screen (ALARM/DIAGN 1). After displayed MESSAGE screen, perform from step 3.4. 3.1 Press the SYSTEM function key to display the INPUT/OUTPUT screen. If PARAMETER or PLC LADDER screen is displayed after press the SYSTEM func

19、tion key, press the SYSTEM function key again. 3.2 Press the SHIFT key and C D key on INPUT/OUTPUT screen to input “ D ” in the key buffer area. 3.3 When the “ D ” is on the buffer area on the screen, press the F3 “ NC SYSTEM ” function key. 3.4 The MESSAGE screen (ALARM/DIAGN 1) is displayed. Press

20、 the F5 “ MENU ” function key to change the function key menu as indicated below. When the function key menu is changed, press the F1 “ ABS-SRV ” (Absolute Servo Monitor) function key to display the ABS SERVO MONITOR screen. The ABS. POSITION SET screen is displayed. If indication of “ STA

22、TE ” is “ OK ” on the ABS. POSITION SET screen, the zero return position is established. If indication of “ STATE ” is “ NG ”, the zero return position is not established. Z-axis zero return position is not established from the following table. 4. Perform Z-axis initial setting in according to the f

23、ollowing steps 4.1 4.2. 4.1 Input 0 in “ # ( ) ” and 1 in the Z-axis () setting value parenthesis ( ) using data input keys and press the INPUT button. 4.2 After step 4.1, “ INITIAL SET (ABS.) ” is displayed and the “ STATE ” display on the ABS. POSITION SET screen changes to “ ORIGIN SET ”. ABS. PO

Set the Z-axis “ ORIG-RTN ” (Origin Return) in according to the following steps 5.1 5.2. 5.1 Input 1 in “ # ( ) ” and 1 in the Z-axis () setting value parenthesis ( ) using data input keys and press the INPUT button. 5.2 After step 5.1, th

26、e “ STATE ” display on the ABS. POSITION SET screen changes to “ ORIG-RTN ”. 6. Establish the Z-axis zero return position in according to the following steps 6.1 6.3. 6.1 Move the Z-axis in the “ - ” direction (to the spindle direction) using manual pulse generator. 6.2 When performing the above ste

27、p 6.1, axis travel is stopped automatically at the next grid point (servomotor one revolution detection point). If axis travel exceeds 30 mm the operating procedure has been performed incorrectly. Perform the procedure again from step 1. 6.3 When axis travel is stopped, the “ STATE ” display on the

28、ABS. POSITION SET screen changes to “ OK ” and established Z-axis zero return position. 7. Performing steps 4 6 completes establishment of the Z-axis zero return position. After restarting, perform zero return operation to make sure the zero return position established in step 6 is correct. 8

30、.1 Press the ZRN (Zero Return) mode selection switch to select the Zero Return mode. Perform Z-axis zero return operation. 8.2 After zero return operation completed, make sure the Z-axis zero point arrow index marks are aligned. If the zero point arrow index marks are not aligned, the zero return po

31、sition is incorrect. Perform procedure from step 1 again. In the case of established Z-axis zero return position at distance from the spindle large nose, make sure the distance between the zero return position and spindle large nose. (Refer to on last pages) 9. Check the operation of the Z-axis in b

32、oth of Manual and MDI operation. In the case of MSC-805 (MELDAS M65 without MAPPS spec.): Indication methods of a screen are different. Display the appropriate screen using following procedure. null OPERATION PANEL screen procedure step 1 Set the “ ZERO POSITION SET ” to “ VALID ” on OPERATION PANEL

33、 screen using following steps. Press the SETTING function key to display the SETTNG screen. Press the OPE.PANEL soft key on SETTING screen to display the OPERATION PANEL screen. Move the cursor to the “ ZERO POSITION SET ” using cursor movement keys. Press the cursor movement key to select “ VALID ”

35、teps. Press the POS (Position) function key to display the POSITION “ ABSOLUTE ” screen. Press the INC. (Incremental) soft key on “ ABSOLUTE ” screen to display the POSITION “ INCREMENTAL ” screen. Press the Z B data input key and INPUT button on “ INCREMENTAL ” screen. The “ Z ” (incremental coordi

36、nate value) is set to “ 0.000 ”. null ABS. POSITION SET screen procedure step 3 Display the ABS. POSITION SET (Absolute Position Set) screen using following steps. Press the SYSTEM function key to display the S/W MODULE TREE screen. Press the NC DGN soft key on S/W MODULE TREE screen. The SERVO MONI

37、TOR screen is displayed. Press the ABS-SRV (Absolute Servo Monitor) soft key to display the ABS SERVO MONITOR screen. Press the T (advance) page selection key once on ABS SERVO MONITOR screen. 39、se, remove the check from the machine and move Z-axis to the following position. Detailed distance from spindle large nose to Z-axis zero return position. (following is standard value. 40、2000 Series CL2000A、 CL2000B : 417 mm CL2000AT、 CL2000BT 617 mm CL2000AM、 CL2000BM : 400 mm Spindle Large Nose SpindleDistance from Spindle Large Nose to zero return Turret Gauge The turret face cannot move to the spindle large nose, therefore moveZ-axis in the “ - ” direction using manual pulse generator and putblock gauge between them. Move Z-axis the distance from the spindle large nose to Z-axis zeroreturn position minus the block gauge in the “ + ” direction usingmanual pulse generator. This is Z-axis zero return position.
