You will learn about the 120 most commonly used single herbs in the Chinese herbal materia medica and the top 150 classical formulas a

8、nd herbal formulas that have been designed specifically to address the needs of veterinarians. During each section, you will receive a sample of the herbs covered to enable you to experience first-hand the tastes and actions these herbs possess. You will gain a deeper understanding of TCVM fundament

9、al principles, advanced theories and physiology and pathology of the Zang-fu organs from this program. Your TCVM diagnostic skills will be enhanced thereby giving you greater confidence in evaluating and treating your patients with TCVM. The course is a 195 hour program, divided into six modules. Yo

10、u can start from any one of the six modules without regard to sequence. Upon completion of all six modules and the submission of six case studies an passing the final exam, you are a Certified Veterinary Chinese Herbalist (CVCH). Why should I take this program? Herbal Medicine is an essential part o

11、f Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). In China, TCVM treatment consists of 30% acupuncture and 70% Chinese herbal medicine. Chinese herbal medicine has a rich history extending over several thousands of years and has proven to be an effective treatment modality. If you would like to impr

12、ove your TCVM results, do more for your patients and obtain a deeper knowledge of TCVM, then this series of herbal courses (6 modules) is right for you. The Qi Academy herbal program is NOT only about the herbal medicine, but also provide you with a much deeper understanding of TCVM principles and d

13、iagnostics. Each module of the on-site live course contains a 6-hour web lab, supervised by lab assistants that are experienced in utilizing Chinese herbal medicine, which will enable you to enhance your TCVM diagnostic skills while also becoming more familiar with Chinese herbal medicine. 14、e speakers are top TCVM experts. Attending the live modules gives you the opportunity to ask the instructors questions and obtain immediate feedback. QiAcademy TCM for VeterinanrainsPrerequisites Students wishing to enroll in any of the herbal courses must have background knowledge of TCVM and herbal medicine, and must fulfill the following two requirements. Basic knowledge in acupuncture, TCVM. Completi

17、on of the Introduction to Chinese Herbal Medicine online lecture series intro module. The structur of the modules is based on the five elements. It will be addressed both individual herbs and formulations. The focus is the clinical application. The curriculum is orientated on clinical pictures and t

18、reatment options The participants should be able to diagnose after each module clinical images in the sense of Chinese medicine and treat with traditional recipes. In every module at least 20 single herbs and 30 classic recipes are presented. The individual herbs are explained for the participants a

19、nd handed out . Curriculum The courses are for veterinarians. Course Language: English Each participant will receive the documents in English. The basic herbal course divided into six modules, each takes 2,5 days onsite (20 hours Fri-Sun) and 10 hours online. To participate requires training in TCM
