1、The chart below shows the response of UK drivers to a survey conducted by the Market and Opinion Research Institute (MORI). The survey set out to discover the main causes of road accidents. Although the reasons are under 6 different headings, they can be divided into two categories/groups: the obj

3、ective and the subjective.According to the provided information, we understand that four reasons are considered subjective. 70 percent of the respondents maintained that driving under the influence of alcohol was one of the main causes, and 60 percent thought that driving at excessive speed was to b

Two other factors(, driving when tired and driving too close to the vehicle in front,) - were held by 44 and 36 percent of those respondents respectively.For fewer of the drivers who took part in the survey, the objective factors could account for the traffic tragedies. The first one outlines a comparison of internet users in five European countries in 1995, 2000 and 2004, whereas the second one illustrates the popularity of intern

30、et shopping in these countries.It is evident from the provided information that Britain had by far the largest number of internet users in all three years. From 16 million in 1995, the number of British users climbed steadily to 22 million in 2000, before soaring to a 41 million in 2004. Germany ran

31、ked second. This country saw a threefold increase during this period, from 5 million in 1995 to 14 million in 2000 and then to 15 million in 2004. A similar increase took place in France. The two nations with the fewest internet users were Switzerland and Spain.We can also note that internet shoppin

32、g was far more common in the UK than in any other country listed. In fact, the prevalence of internet shopping in Britain doubled that of Germany and tripled that of Switzerland. France and Spain had a moderate level of online shopping. In sum, the total number of internet users of those five countries started to boom in the decade from 1995 on. Another outstanding feature is that the more internet users in a country, the more popular online shopping is there.
