Fire may produce irritating, corrosive and/or toxic gases.4. FIRST AID MEASURES4.1 IngestionMucosal if no respiratory co
4、mpromise is present, dilute immediately with milk or water; no more than 8 ounces in adults and 4 ounces in children. Gastric ipecac contraindicated. Consider insertion of a small, flexible nasogastric or orogastric tube to suction gastric contents after recent large ingestions; the risk of further
5、mucosal injury must be weighed against potential benefits.4.2 InhalationMove patient to fresh air. Monitor for respiratory distress. If cough or difficulty breathing develops, evaluate for respiratory tract irritation, bronchitis, or pneumonitis. Administer oxygen and assist ventilation as required.
6、 Treat bronchospasm with beta2 agonist and corticosteroid aerosols.4.3 Skin ContactRemove contaminated clothes. Irrigate exposed skin with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes or longer, depending on concentration, amount and duration of exposure to the chemical. A physician may need to
7、examine the area if irritation or pain persist.4.4 EyesHome irrigation - exposed eyes should be irrigated with copious amounts of water for at least 30 minutes. An examination should always be performed. Ophthalmologic consultation should be obtained. Medical facility: irrigate with sterile 0.9% Sal
