1、Unit3 Whats your favourite food?第一课时Lets start Main scene Lets chant A Lets Learn Group work【教材分析】教学重点:熟练掌握 tofu, eggplant, potato, tomato, green beans, fish, pork, mutton, cabbage 及句子 What would you like for lunch? Id like some教学难点:本课时词汇量大,要求学生掌握的单词多。根让学生在课堂上较好掌握这些单词,教师需巧教、趣教,努力调动学生的积极性。如:教师比较 pota

2、to 和 tomato 两个单词的异同,引导学生速记,也可利用歌谣来教学新单词。【学情分析】学生在四年级上册第五单元已学过部分有关食物的单词及自己想吃某种食物的表达 What would you like for dinner? Id like some为本课时语言的操练提供了基础。食物也是学生感兴趣的话题之一,兴趣是最好的老师,教师可以充分利用学生的兴趣来进行词汇的教学。【教学目标】一、能力目标:能够询问别人或介绍自己爱吃的食物,如 What would you like for lunch? Id like some tomatoes and mutton.二、知识目标:1. 能听、说、读

3、、写单词:tofu, eggplant, potato, tomato, green beans, fish。2. 能听、说、读单词 pork, mutton, cabbage 及句子 What would you like for lunch? Id like some3. 能听懂、会说 Lets chant 部分的歌谣。4. 了解在 9 个新词中,pork, mutton, fish 肉类为不可数名词。tofu, eggplant 也是不可数名词。 tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, cabbage 为可数名词。三、情感目标:培养学生合理选择和搭配饮食的观念。

4、【教学准备】教师准备已学食物和新学食物单词的剪图若干,磁带,录音机,教师用菜单和学生菜单。学生准备课前画好的食物图片。【教学过程】一、Warming up/Revision(热身/复习)1. Lets sing: What would you like for lunch?2. Review.教师指着黑板上贴着的已学食品的图片:T:Look, there are some foods here. Fruits, vegetables, juice, noodlesWhat would you like?S1: Id like someS2: Id like some从师生问答过渡到生生问答。【

5、设计意图】师生在一起唱唱、跳跳、听听、做做的热身活动中进入学习状态。通 过对句型 What would you like for lunch? Id like some的复习操练,为新授句型作好了铺垫,并以此引入新课。二、Presentation/Practice(新课呈现/操练)Lets learn(一)猜谜语引出新单词。1教师出示 Lets start 部分的挂图,出谜语,请学生猜猜是什么食物。T:Im yummy to eat. Im yellow and long. I grow on the tree. My name begins with the letter as “bee”.

6、 What am I ? 学生猜是何种食物。教师揭晓答案:banana.2用谜语教学 tomato.教师出谜语:Im yummy to eat. Im red and round. I grow on the ground. My name begins with the letter as “tea”. What am I ? 学生猜是何种食物。教师揭晓答案并出示图片:tomato教师领读单词,学生跟读。拼读单词:t-o-m-a-t-o, tomato.教师板书。3教学 potato.教师把 tomato 单词中的“t,m” 换成“p,t”,单词变为 potato,请学生读出单词。T:Wha

Missing game.教师出示一些食物卡,放在讲台上。让一名学生上台来看一会,然后背向讲台站立,再让另一位学生上台取走一张食物卡,猜的学生要在最短的时间内用英语把缺的东西说出来。【设计意图】通过这个游戏,培养学生的记忆能力和快速反应能力。2菜谱游戏。教师用汉语说一种菜品的名称,请学生用英语补充完整。如红烧(学生说出)eggplant,凉拌 tomato 等。【设计意图】通过菜谱游戏,充分利用了学生的生活经验,极大地激发了学生的学习兴趣,使学生感到学 习是一种乐趣,取得事半功倍的效果

10、 like some tofu, tomatoes and some rice.教师把笑脸贴在喜欢吃的食物旁边。教师问学生:What would you like for lunch?学生回答: Id like some.学生上来选择自己喜欢的食物,互相交流,并在食物边贴上笑脸贴纸。(四)听录音学习单词。1教师播放录音,学生跟读单词。2拼读单词。教师出示四会单词的图片, 以四人小组为单位抢拼单词。Lets chant教师播放录音,学生学唱本课时的歌谣 What would you like for lunch?复习巩固新单词。Group work以小组为单位每个小组一张菜单,学生用句型 Wha

Id like some.对话,把笑脸贴在喜欢的菜旁边。【设计意图】将会话教学融入情景中,让学生通过参与、合作、 实践,滚动以往所学的语言内容,提高语 言运用能力。三、Consolidation and extension (巩固与拓展)1游戏:看谁反应快教师说出有关食物的单词,学生快速抢答其颜色。如:eggplant-purple,进行小组比赛,看哪一组学生反应最快,给予奖励。也可转换角色进行,由教师说颜色,学生说出食物名。四、Emotional Theme(情感升华)科学饮食,合理搭配,吃出健康和营养。五、Homework(家庭作业)

12、1做调查以小组为单位调查本组同学的一日三餐,参考句型: What would you like for lunch? I have.教学难点:句子 “What would you like for lunch?”与“What do you have for lunch today?”的不同用法。【学情分析】学生在第二单元已学过 What do you have on Mondays? 可在学生原有认知的基础上引出本课时的句型

I have. 句子 “What would you like for lunch?”与“What do you have for lunch today?”容易混淆,可引导学生充分理解两句的不同意思,正确运用两句型。针对本课时文化背景的学习,要为学生介绍中国表示美好祝愿的美食,以及其他国家具有代表性的食物,开拓学生的视野。【教学目标】(一)能力目标1. 能听懂会说 “What do you have for lunch today? I have.”并能在情景中正确运用。2. 能听懂提示语,按照录音内容判断图片的正误。(二)

15、知识目标1. 认读 A Lets talk 中的句子。2. 了解 Good to know 部分的内容。(三)情感目标了解中国表示美好愿望的传统美食,并介绍其他国家具有代表性的食物,开拓学生的视野。【教学准备】单词和句型卡片,录音带,录音机。【教学过程】一、Warming up/Revision(热身/复习)(一)歌曲热身Lets sing: What do you have for lunch?(二)复习1呈现单词卡片,学生读单词并练习拼读。2Guessing game.教师或学生出示自己编的谜语,请其他学生猜是何种食物。3以小组为单位汇报上节课的调查活动,进行生生对话。S1: What w

16、ould you like for lunch/?S2: Id like. 【设计意图】上一课时的单词比较难,应该花一定的时间进行复习,让学生在拼写、猜、读 中巩固单词。4自由对话。教师问学生: What would you like for lunch?S: Id like.教师从食物图片中拿出相应的图片交给学生。依次问答若干名学生。请拿到词卡的学生带着词卡到讲台前面围着“餐桌”(即讲台)就餐,做出吃的样子。教师提问问题:What do you have for lunch? 学生根据图片内容回答: I have .二、Presentation/Practice(新课呈现/操练)Lets t

I have, and .教师出示一个大转盘,上面画有各种套餐,转动转盘,根据指针停留的位置进行问答。【设计意图】游戏是学生非常喜欢的学习方式,能活跃课堂气氛,让学生通过游戏一起问,可以让每个人都练习这个句型,也使每个人参与与游戏当中。(四)教学对话 Lets talk1. 播放录音,学生听录音,跟读对话。2. 分角色读对话。3. 替换练习。Talk and match.学生两人一组练习,完成 Talk and match 部分说说连连的活动。Good to know出示

21、本部分的挂图,为学生介绍中国及其他国家的饮食文化。三、Consolidation and extension (巩固与拓展)找朋友:让学生自制一分营养午餐的菜谱,与他人进行交流。可参与语言:I have fish for lunch today. Do you have fish/pork? What do you have for lunch today? 与互相菜谱的学生,结成朋友,彼此交流更多的个人信息。【设计意图】结合学生的生活实际,体现运用所学英语做事的理念。同进培养学生健康饮食的习惯。四、Homework(家庭作业)1. 听 Lets try 和 Lets talk 部分的录音,读

Shed like potatoes and green beans for dinner.(三)活动操练1. 单词接力赛。将学生分为四组。 教师先拼读一个单词,如:what,学生根以“t”为开头拼出一个单词,如 teacher。先拼出的学生可为本组加一分。游戏结束,得分多的小组获胜。【设计意图】这一竞赛活动训练了学生的单词记忆能力和快速反应能力。2活动:一气呵成以小组为单位,教师将句型中的单词打乱后发组小组学生,最先拼写完并读出所拼句型的
