1、1语法复习（四）-数词数词在高考中虽然不像其它词类那么“热“, 但也有其考查的重点和难点 ,须引起同学们的注意。 一、考查基数词的用法 1. 基数词 hundred, thousand, million 等表示确切数目时,其词尾不能加 -s,其前面可用数词或several, some 等修饰;当表示笼统数目时,其词尾要加-s, 可跟 of 连用,其前不能用数词,但可以用 several, some 等修饰。millions of /Several million people in the world are sending information by e-mail every day. 2
2、. dozen（12）和 score（20）的用法要注意以下几点: 1) dozen 与数词或 many, several 等连用时,不加-s,所修饰的名词前常省去 of。如 two (many, several) dozen pencils。但是用在代词或名词前，或有 these、those 和 the 修饰时，要加 of,如 two dozen of these / those people/ them（他们中的、那些人中的两打） 。2) score 表示实际数量时不加 s，但可加 of。如： ten score of books （200 本书） 。当表示不确定的概数时要加 s 和 of
3、。3)表示“几十;许多“时,可使用 dozens of; scores of 形式。 3. 英语中表示年代的直接在年份前加定冠词 the， 再在年份后面加 s 或s，如：“20 世纪 80 年代”可表示为 the 1980s 或 the 1980s; 用“in ones +整十数的复数”表示大致年龄。如：“在我 20 多岁时”可表示为 in my twenties， “在他 10 多岁时”可表示为 in his teens。4. 基数词和表示度量的名词（如 mile，foot，inch，meter 等）一起，修饰 long, high, deep, wide, thick 等形容词，作程度状语
4、，表示度量的名词要用复数形式。The room is ten feet long and five feet wide.5. 基数词和一些表示时间、计量的名词单数一起构成复合形容词，作定语修饰另一名词，复合形容词的个词之间应有连字符，如：a ten-mile walk a five-year-old boy 等。6. 表示计量时间的词语常用所有格形式来修饰后面的名词，如：a weeks holiday, half an hours ride 等。二、考查序数词的用法 序数词一般由基数词+th 构成。以 y 结尾的基数词构成序数词时,先把 y 变为 i,再加eth。如 twentieth; fi
5、ftieth。常用的不规则的序数词有 :first, second, third, fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth。序数词前通常要加定冠词 the,但序数词不表示顺序而表示 “再一;又一“时,前面要用不定冠词 a(an)。 The cakes are delicious. Hed like to have a third one because the second one is rather too small. 三、考查分数和百分数的用法 1. 在表达分数时，分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分数的分子超过“一”时，分母须加s。如 one tenth（1/10） ，
