How are you doing: 比 How are you 更亲切。V. For ages: 很久。VI. Hows it going? = Hows everything going? = How are things with you = How are you gett

4、ing along with these days? 分别一段时间后重逢时的常用语,询问对方最近的情况。VII. So-so: 马马虎虎。VIII. Morning: 熟悉的人之间通常将 Good morning 简化为 Morning 。IX. Whats up? =Whats new? = Whats happening? 非正式问候语。意思是 “有什么新情况吗?”“有什么变化吗?”现已演变为 “你好吗?”,是常用的招呼语。X. Nothing much = Not too much. 没什么。后者稍委婉一些。Dialog 2 May I introduce myself?A: I bel

How do you do? 被介绍双方的客套话。. This is my brother John: 非正式场合或介绍关系较密切的人的用法。. Sure:非正式场合表示同意或肯定的用语。相当于certainl

Whats the weather like today? 其中的like是介词,后跟代词、名词和动名词。如: It looks like being a fine day.V. get windy: 要起风了。 get” 相当于become,如:Its getting cold. 天气正在变冷。“windy,wind 的形容词。名词加y变成形容词:cloud-cloudy, rain-rainy, sun-sunny 等。 Dialog 7 Whats your hobby?A: Whats your

Say: 句首语气词,是一种极随便的招呼语。. Dog is my f

26、avorite: favorite可做名词,因此在回答时可省略其后的事物,直接用my favorite指代。. Mmts hard to say = Its difficult to say. 用在回答别人的问题前,可给自己思考的时间。VI.
