It consists of a steel bearing shell and four Babbitt l

2、ined steel pads bored to a tolerance diameter and is provided with means for radial adjustment and lubrication. 轴承壳体制成两半,与轴承座的水平中分面齐平,用定位销定位。各瓦块均支撑于轴承壳体内 ,且用支持销(19)定位。位于瓦块中心的调整垫块(17)与支持销(19)的球面相接触,作为可倾瓦块的摆动支点。因此轴承可以随转子摆动并自对中心。The bearing shell is made in halves and doweled at the horizontal joint wi

Each pad is supported in the bearing shell and is definitely located and pivoted on pivot (19) with its spherical end contacting the inner liner (17) located in the center of each bearing pad. 5、ned to a radius slightly less than that of the pedestal bore. These keys are assembled in the upper and lower halves of the shell at angles of 45 to the horizontal and vertical centerlines. Between each key and the bearing shell, are provided a liner (10) and shims (11, 12, 13, 14), by means of whic

6、h the bearing can be moved vertically and horizontally to locate the rotor accurately within the cylinder. A stop dowel (7) fitted in the bearing shell projects into a notch in the bearing housing base just below the horizontal joint, thus preventing rotation of the bearing relative to the housing.轴

Each bearing pad is bolted to the bearing shell by means of temporary bolts (23) located near the ends of each b

9、earing pad during fitting in the shop. These bolts must be removed before assembly with the rotor and replaced with plugs (24). 12、ring (15, 16), which are secured to each end of the bearing shell. The oil is returned to the pedestal through passages machined in the bottom halves of the oil seal rings and their retainers.
