The hazards of the thermal pollution,including hurting thehumans health, influencing theglobalclimaticvariationchange, pollu
7、ting atmosphere, polluting water, quickeningthe evaporation of water, increasing the energy consumption, areanalyzed. Thecausesofthermalpollutionarediscussed. Theyarethenature climatic variation and the factor of human behavior. Heatdischarge by humans production and activity is the main cause ofthe
8、rmal pollution. Greenhouse effect caused by greenhouse gases,suchasCO2, CH4, N2O, etc, isthemainfactorforglobalwarming.Waste heat water, gases, and residue produced by industryproduction, heat dissipationby home appliances andfuel usage arecontributed to the thermal pollution. Industry thermal hazar
9、ds,including fire, explosion, and poison leakage are also the source ofthermalpollution. Inthe endof the paper, the author puts forwardseveralcountermeasuresfor preventing thermalpollution. They are:(1) developingrenewableenergy, suchassolar energy, wideenergy,tide energy, geothermal energy, etc; (2
