11、an represents an opportunity to develop 450,000 square meters of prime waterfront real estate for office, residential and commercial use. The projects concept revolves around the transformation of the existing ship platform into an area where people can experience a “work, play and live” community e
12、nvironment. The master plan is an example of Gensler strategic integration in Shanghais most valuable development area. After developing the sites program, the team designed a way to integrate the adjacent neighborhoods. The design incorporates existing natural elements surrounding the site as a mea
13、ns of transition between the new financial district and the existing historic, residential and industrial areas. 上海船厂总体规划 上海造船厂位于浦东陆家嘴地区，本次总体规划项目占地69.5公顷， 计划在黄浦江沿岸黄金地段建造占地450,000平方米，集写字楼、住 宅和商用物业于一体的房地产项目。项目理念围绕将目前的船运平台 改造成为“工作、娱乐、生活”一体的社区环境。 这一总体规划项目是Gensler从战略上融入上海最有价值地段开发中 的实例。在完成本项目后，设计团队开发出一套行之

15、te A new icon on the exciting Shanghai skyline, the Gensler designed, 121-storey, 380,000-square-meter Shanghai Tower completes a trio of “super-tall” buildings in Shanghais Lujiazui financial district. Set to become a premiere global financial center, this 632-meter tower contains Class-A office sp
16、ace, entertainment venues, retail, an exhibition center, boutique hotel, and cultural venues. Shanghai Towers undulating transparent faades are visible from all directions, offering excellent views of Shanghai from every floor. In addition to its beauty, the towers shape advances the science and tec
17、hnology of modern super-tall buildings. The towers taper and asymmetry all combine to reduce wind load on the building by 24%, offering considerable savings in both building materials and construction costs. Genslers design incorporates cutting-edge sustainable ideas, including a double-skin faade,
18、wind turbines, and a spiraling parapet at the buildings apex that serves as a rain collection system. Developed by the Shanghai Tower a lower section totaling approximately 50,000 square meters of Grade A office space on 26 floors; a 10-story middle section for the Four Seasons which will include ab

21、ansportation hub. The areas namesake in Chinese translates as “city that doesnt sleep”, referencing the 24-activity surrounding the district core. The site provided a great opportunity to reposition an aging part of the city with a 183,900 square-meter mixed-use development that includes high end of
22、fice space, a flagship Intercontinental hotel and conference center facilities. In total, BM Plaza is comprised of three individual buildings: a tall office tower, a medium height hotel tower and a lower office headquarters building together, the forms and functions are intimately related to create
23、a dynamic new skyline for the Zhabei District. Facing nearby Suzhou Creek, the design for the towers draws inspiration from the historic river boats that would ship resources throughout the city during the turn of the century. The buildings shape mimics that of a sail, catching and refracting sunlig
24、ht much like sails do wind. Neighboring residential towers also played a role in the buildings scale and massing using sophisticated sun/shade analyses, designers were able to ensure they would not negatively impact the surrounding buildings access to light. 宝矿国际广场 宝矿国际广场位于上海市闸北区上海火车站不夜城附近，标志着昔日城 市交
