10、谎。lie 第二个意思是“位于 ”，第三个意思是“ 躺”。我们可以想象，晚上睡觉时躺的姿势是各种各样的，更有甚者180 度大变换，所以躺是不规则的。也就是说“位于、躺”这两个意思过去式和过去分词是不规则变化的：lie、 lay 、lain。可以用这一句口诀记忆：不规则位于、躺。lay 不仅是 lie 的过去式，它又是下蛋、放的原形。我们再用一句口诀来记忆：躺过去下蛋。这句的意思是躺的过去式下蛋的原型。例如：The hen lays an egg in the basket.母鸡在篮子里下了蛋。lay 做原型时是“ 下蛋；放” 的意思，而且它的过去式和过去分词也是不规则变化，最后一句口诀随之出现
11、：下蛋放一起，就是说他们的过去式和过去分词一起变化，一样的：lay、 laid、laid。例如：The hen laid an egg yesterday and I e.g. Youll never guess how much it cost. 你怎么也猜不出它值多少钱。lie vi. 说谎 lied; lyinge.g. She lied about her age in order to get the job. 她为了谋得那份工作隐瞒了年龄。6.
