1、Unit 1 Success stories一、 教材分析本单元的话题是“success and successful people”。围绕这一话题展开听、说、读、写的训练。通过介绍 Lang Lang, Benjamin Franklin, Pierre Lan, Dr Hong, Nelson Mandela, Michael Jordan, Mrs Wang 等不同行业成功人士的故事,向学生展示了各行各业成功人士的经历,帮助学生理解成功的内涵。其中通过 Lang Lang 的成功事例,渗透了一个人走向成功,要付出比常人更多的艰辛,及善于捕捉机会。语法知识是首次出现的过去进行时。二、 教学

2、对象分析学生对“success and successful people”的话题比较感兴趣。学生和教师可以在教学过程中介绍自己熟知的成功人士并谈自己的体会。并以此为契机,教育学生要想成功就一定要从现在起开始努力。过去进行时是本单元出现的新语法知识,也是本单元的教学难点。为了帮助学生更好地掌握这一语法,在教学中要创设情景,设计大量的相关学案以求达到真正掌握这个语法。三、 单元教学目标1、 认知目标:语音:能流利地朗读课文及与课文难度相当的短文,语音、语调、句子重音和停顿基本正确;能用正确的语音、语调带有感情第朗读 Speakin 部分有关道歉与解释的对话。词汇:1)重点词汇 sentence,

6、 能预习新单词,听懂教师用学过的语音介绍课文和录音材料。2、 能就课文内容进行问答。3、 能复述课文大意。4、 能背诵课文中的重点句型和句子。书面表达:1)能笔头回答课文内容提出的问题。2)能用本单元学习的重点词汇、句型进行造句。3)能按照课文要求,指导学生先将访问搭配对号,从而了解写作的内容,再将其人称转换,写出一篇有关成功人物的故事或报道。2.思想情感目标1)通过谈论“success and successful people”的相关话题,帮助学生了解各行各业的工作对象与环境,培养学生从小树立远大理想。2)通过一些各行各业不同的 successful people 介绍,培养学生做好自己的

7、事情,努力工作、学习、付出比常人更多的努力,及善于捕捉机会,才能实现自己的理想和抱负的思想感情。3.能力发展目标:1)能够在听、说、读、写等语言综合时间活动中运用本单元所学的重点词汇、句型与语法。2)在学习中提高交流和传递信息的能力,在写作中正确运动连词使文章更连贯和流畅。3)通过知道学生在模拟交际中运用所学的知识,培养学生探究学习、合作学习、自主学习的能力。四、 单元教学重点1. 学生熟练掌握重点词汇 45 个,短语 10 个。2. 指导学生利用所学句型正确表达思想、进行交际活动。3. 知道学生理解并掌握 The past continuous tense。五、 单元教学难点1.通过形式多样

8、的课堂活动,帮助学生完成阅读理解、听力理解、写作训练等学习任务。2.引导学生积极主动地探究学习,发现语法规律,总结出 The past continuous tense 的构成和在交际中的用法。六、教学策略1、在教学中,创设情景,帮助学生理解 The past continuous tense 的结构与用法。2.结合身边的例子,拉近学生与 success and successful people 的距离,帮助他们更好地理解课文。七、媒体的选择与设计1、充分利用和发挥基本的教学媒体,如课本、挂图、教师的身体语言、板书的作用。2、适时、合理地使用计算机多媒体,增大课堂的容量,更好地辅助课堂教学。

9、八、各课时的教学内容及安排第一课时:一、 定位 Input-based,阅读理解为主。二、 教学目标1. 通过多种形式的阅读活动与任务,帮助学生理解课文。2. 指知道学生运用一定的阅读理解学习策略,培养一些阅读微技能,如:寻读,找出关键信息等;扫读,获取文章大意;通过构词法或上下文猜测生词大意;推断等。三、 教学环节设计:1. Leading-inCartoon talk. Show the cartoon picture of unit 1 .2. Pre-readingAsk Ss if they would rather be rich or famous? Get the Ss to

10、talk about ways of being successful. Then show the picture on page2. Present sentence, award, success, strict, forever, encourage, support, prodigy, pianist, stunning, performance, orchestra, talent. Tell Ss that was watching means the past continuous tense, it means“过去某时正在做”in Chinese. But well lea

11、rn more about it later in Language.3. While-reading1) Fast reading: Ss read the passage as fast as they can and try to find out the answers to A1.2) Read it again and check the answers to A1.3) Reading for details and try to fill in the blanks in A3 Ss discuss in pairs and finish A3. Help Ss to revise the form: am/is/are doing.2. Grammar learning-The past continuous tense1) Change the time inf

31、ormation in the pictures and present the sentences the past continuous tense. By giving the examples, tell Ss we have the past continuous tense and the present continuous tense and their differences.2) Get the Ss to pay attention to the form of the past continuous tense: S + was/were doing + point o

32、f past time. Help them to tell the meaning of the example sentences and find out the usages of the past continuous tense.3. Practice1) Complete the blanks in A. Check the answers in class.
