1、Unit 4 How do you get to school ?一、教材分析(一)教学内容分析本单元的教学重点是谈论交通方式。围绕 How do you get to school? How does heshe get to school? 等话题展开,讨论人们日常生活中上学、上班等的交通方式,学习行为动词的一般现在时。Section A 部分从学习交通工具入手谈论学生上学的方式、上学所需时间,并以人物 LiLei 为例阅读有关 LiLei 的信息 .Section B 部分通过描述 Nina 这个人物的信息来谈论多种交通方式,学习时间、距离的表达法,并阅读有关世界不同地区学生的上学方式。

2、Self-check 部分复习和归纳本单元的教学内容(二)教学重点1、词汇: subway ,take the subway, train, minute, kilometer, quick, leave for, half, past, bus station, bus ride, stop, transportation, north, North America, school bus, depend, by boat, must, car, bicycle, ill, worry, ill2、句型: How do you get to school?How does heshe get

It takes me twenty minutes to get from home to school?It depends on where you are.3、语法 :行为动词的一般现在时(三)教学难点1、创设情景、设计任务,通过交际活动,熟练掌握语法。2、任务的真实性、实用性与功能性的有机统一。3、培养和发展学生自主学习的技能。二、教学准备1、用多媒体辅助教学,教学前先做好课件,设置好图片和备用的表格。2

4、、学生分组。 小组划分方法有:(1)依学生的具体情况划分。(年龄、性别、能力、性格等)(2)依任务难易划分。(3)依学生的人际关系划分。(4)随机抽样划分。三、学情分析1、学生前面已学习过一般现在时的肯定句、否定句、疑问句及其回答,部分交通工具也学习过,因此为这节课完成任务打下了一定的基础。2、通过本单元的学习,学生能描述他们家离学校的距离,所需时间的长短,所用的交通工具等,并根据具体情况作出反应。这些话题来源于现实,贴近学生生活,学生爱学,教师易于组织课堂教学,开展听、说、读、写等活动。四、教学原则1、运用任务型教学途径,培养学生实际运用语言的能力。2、设计形式多样的学习活动,激发学生学习英

5、语的兴趣,促进学生实践能力和思维能力的发展。3、借助多媒体,提高课堂效率。4、设计多种表格,有利于提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。五、教学目标(一)知识目标1、学习行为动词的一般现在时。2、学习和掌握必要的词汇、句型及交际功能用语。3、进一步培养听、说、读、写能力。4、培养学生的实践能力和创造能力。(二)情感态度1、培养学生助人为乐的精神。2、培养学生的合作意识。3、学生通过完成任务体验成功的快乐。三)学习策略1、指导学法,使学生会学。2、善于乐于与他人合作并用英语和他人交流。(四)文化意识1、激发学生对英语文化的求知欲,并鼓励他们与该文化的人有所共鸣,了解国外学生的学习生活。2、让学生了解

6、国外的交通方式。六、评价方式本单元以形成性评价和终结性评价相结合的原则。形成性评价:学生参与课堂活动的积极态度、语言表达的熟练程度、思想观点的新颖程度、小组中的合作精神等。可包括自我评价、小组评价和教师评价。终结性评价:以单元测试为主。七、课时分配:4 课时八、教学步骤 Period OneTask: Make a survey showing how the students in your group get to school.Step1: Warming-up1.Sing the “Hello” song.2.Greetings.Step 2:Pre-task1.
