( than.)的用法此结构表示“宁可(更)喜欢”。注意:rather后用 动词原形,than后也接动词原形,其否定形式为:would rather not do sth.。eg :I would rather stay at home than go shopping on weekends.周末我宁愿待在家里也不愿去逛街。I would rather not know the truth.我宁愿不知道真 才目。,【拓展】rather than与would连用时,构成“would rather. than .”

12、句式,意为“宁愿而不愿”,表示主观愿望,即在两者之中选择其一。rather than不与would连用时,表示客观事实,意为“是而不是;与其不如”。它连接的并列成分可以是名词、代词、形容词、介词(短语)、动名词、分句或动词不定式等。此句式可以用instead of改写。,eg:He would rather sleep than walk.=He sleeps instead of walking.I would rather stay at home than go to the park.我宁愿待在家里,也 不愿去公园。He is an explorer rather than a sai
