5、n is always absent from the group meetings.look forward to 意为“ 盼望,期待 ”,to 是介词,后跟名词、代词或动词-ing 形式。本句中的 because a boy named Li Tian is always absent from the group meetings 是原因状语从句,其中的 named Li Tian 是过去分词短语作定语,修饰前面的名词 boy。be absent from 意为“缺席,不到场”。4.He doesnt follow the rules,and he refuses to do any w
6、ork.refuse 为及物动词,意为“拒绝”,后加名词或代词作宾语; 后面的动词要用不定式形式,且可加宾语从句。【拓展】 只能跟动词不定式,不能跟动词-ing 形式作宾语的常见动词还有: agree, aim, arrange, choose, decide,demand,desire,determine, expect,hope,learn,manage,offer,prepare,pretend,promise,resolve, seek,swear,threaten,undertake,venture,volunteer 等。5.This slows the whole group d

8、( 是)”, 这个结构不能用于进行时。trouble 在此处为名词,意为“困难,麻烦”,常构成固定短语:get sb.in/into trouble 使某人陷入麻烦/ 困境,have trouble with sth./(in)doing sth.做某事有困难。【拓展】 trouble 还可用作及物动词,意为“麻烦”。7.But so far,you have done nothing.so far 在本句中意为“ 迄今为止”,常用于现在完成时的句子。8.Its not that I dont want to be in the group.it 是虚义用法,表示一种情况,可理解为“这,那”;
