4、rachypithecus franois) is the endangered and protected species around the world and it distributes restrictedly in Guangxi, Guizhou, Chongqing in China and northern Vietnam. It has been defined the First-Class National Protected Species in China and Endangered-Class in the world. Habitat fragmentati

5、on is the major threat to Franois langur. Based on 3S technology, we analyzed landscape pattern and habitat fragmentation of franois langur, revealed the relationship between human activities and habitat fragmentation, and analyzed habitat restoration by GIS simulation, which is a scientific referen

6、ce for franois langur protection and management. The study areas include Longzhou, Fusui, Daxin, Longan Buye, Longan Qunxu, Debao, Jinxi Yuexu, Jinxi Nanpo, Jinxi Xinxin,Longlin in Guangxi province and Mayanghe natural reserve, Daozhen natural reserve in Guizhou. The main results are as following: 1

7、 The habitat landscape pattern of franois langur was studied by means of TM remote sensing image, electron map and relief map as the main information source and GIS as the main tool. 2 We analyzed the main index of landscape pattern and habitat fragmentation of Longzhou, Fusui, Daxin, Longan, Debao,

8、 Jinxi, Longlin in Guangxi province and Mayanghe natural reserve, Daozhen natural reserve in Guizhou with GIS, Fragstats and Patch Analyst: 2.1 The total area of study regions are 6821.39ha 3703.37ha 4974.72ha 1014.94ha 1163.69ha 2520.16ha 2051.69ha 1054.61ha 1528.75ha 2061.80ha 32498.74ha 10665.86h

9、a respectively. 2.2 The Shannon-Weinner index of study regions are 0.27 0.96 0.81 1.20 0.98 0.95 0.83 0.76 0.96 0.93 1.31 0.79 respectively. 2.3 The Contagion index of study regions are 91.27 72.73 77.12 65.86 72.24 73.15 71.11 78.16 77.50 73.84 52.42 77.94 respectively. 2.4 The mean patch areas are

11、s human impact sources, and natural areas within a 400m distance as disturbance area. Through analyzing, we find the fragmentation index of disturbance area is higher than the natural area, and the Karst forest proportion is lower, so we IV think human activities is the major reason for habitat frag

12、mentation of Franois Langur. 4 Theoretically, if we want to resume the habitat, the first job is to resume the submontane farmland and build up corridors between every karst hills, then the whole area is constitute by karst forest. We analyzed the joint value and obdurate value by buffer function of

13、 GIS, which is a reference for habitat protection and management. 5 We analyzed latency habitat of Franois Langur by its habit, geological condition, vegetation and historical distribution, we find that feasible latency habitat is 321623 ha, which is 11 times more than present habitat, and only the

14、present habitats of Longzhou, Daxin, Debao are contained by feasible latency habitat, which illuminated hunt and other human impact affected Franois Langur heavily and habitat has strong enlarge potential. 6 We suggest set up a habitat programming: improving karst hill circumstance, gradual vegetati

15、on restoration, build up corridors in appropriate region; enlarge the protection area and protection strength; enhance the Scotch cousin intercommunion of different groups.
