1、现代大学英语听力教学大 纲执 笔 人:朱冬梅一、课程性质、地位和作用:1、课程性质 现代大学英语听力是英语专业的学科 B 类专业实践课程、必修课程。2、课程的地位和作用现代大学英语听力是英语专业的核心课程。它通过循序渐进地对学生进行全面的、严格的基本听力训练,帮助学生掌握听力基本技能,传授学生英语基础知识,让学生树立正确科学的听音方法。二、课程教学对象、目的和要求:(一) 、教学对象:高职学院英语专业学生(二) 、教学目的现代大学英语听力课程是为英语专业学生学习其它专业课程打好基础及在听力方面用英语无障碍交流的一门基础课程,是一门培养学生听力能力的课程。听力是英语四项基本技能之一。本课程的任务
2、是通过多种形式、多种内容的课堂教学与学生的课外学习和实践活动相结合,使学生的听力能力由初等水平逐渐提高到中高级水平,同时也为培养学生的英语交际能力奠定一个良好的基础。(三) 、教学要求1在教学过程中,要始终坚持以“听”为主的原则,要让学生慢慢学会在听的过程中去获取语言的信息,而不能先读书面材料再听录音。只有坚持不看材料先听录音才是训练听力的正确途径。2指导学生加强课外听力训练,养成收听收看英语广播电视的习惯。鼓励学生阅读有关英语国家社会文化的书籍,为听力训练做必要的背景知识准备。3指导学生带着问题去听,即抓紧练习前和两个练习之间的间隔,事先浏览下一个练习所提的问题,这样就能知道在听的过程中要抓
3、住和记下哪些要点和关键词,以便有目标地寻找答案,集中注意力搜寻我们需要的信息。三、 现代大学英语听力的相关课程及其关系:前导课程:初高中英语后续课程:翻译、写作、英语演讲等 在学生提高听力水平的同时能帮助他们提高英语翻译和写作技能,更能增加他们的演讲技巧。四、课程内容及学时分配:该课程共开设四学期,每周开课 2 学时,共 134 学时。其中,第一学期开课 16周,共 32 学时;第二、三、四学期各开课 17 周,共 102 学时。四学期共开课134 课时,其中实践课 100 学时,理论课 34 学时。第一学年:第一单元 University Life 教学内容:6 学时Task 1.
