Reflection V ocational students are poor in English mainly because that they are lacking in vocabulary .Helping students learn to master words and expressions helps them a
21、lot in their English learning. Students were interested in this class. John Dewey ever said “Learn by doing ”, and I must say may be “Learn by playing ” will do better to our vocational school students. They could get confidence in doing this part, the “crosswords ” part interested the students a lo
22、t, the competition made the atmosphere more lively and the rhythm part made it easy for the students to remember some simple words. The students need make more effort to remember and use them after class. For “crosswords ” part, I should have given students more time to do it, because top students did more quickly, and they gave the answers, weak students didn t have enough time to find all these words.
