An autorun screen will appear as follow: (1) Click Install to start the installation.(2) Follow the Instal
4、lation Wizard to complete the installation.Note:During installation, you can choose the location to install Nimcard Premium.You have the option to restart the computer now or later when the installation completes.42. Installation of Nimcard Premium Scanner Driver(If you have purchased the package wi
5、th the Nimcard Premium Scanner) To install Nimcard Premium Scanner Driver automatically:(1) Make sure you have installed Nimcard Premium software in your computer.(2) Connect Nimcard Premium Scanner to your computer via USB cable.If your OS is either Windows 98 or Windows ME, the system will search
6、and update the driver information automatically. If your OS is Windows 2000 or Windows XP, the system will detect the hardware automatically after the scanner is connected to the computer. You will see the following windows message:5(3) The system will launch the Found New Hardware Wizard. (4) Choos
7、e Install the software automatically (Recommended).(5) Click Next.6(6) You will see a Hardware Installation message.(7) Click Continue Anyway to start the installation.(8) Click Finish to close the wizard after installation completes.To install Nimcard Premium Scanner Driver manually:(1) Before inst
8、alling Nimcard Premium software, connect the Nimcard Premium Scanner to the computer.7(2) In the Nimcard Premium CD, the scanner driver is located at the folder named Scanner Driver. Double click to install the driver and Nimcard Premium software simultaneously. Note:If your OS is either Windows 98
9、or Windows ME, you will need to restart your system after installation.3. Registration of Nimcard Premium Program IMPORTANT: Please read before you use the program. It is necessary to obtain an Authorisation Code and Register your software before usage. A. Obtaining the Authorisation Code through th
10、e website(1) To register, visit http:/tdt.thakral- Click on the Nimcard Products Online Registration button(3) A screen will prompt for your CD Serial Number, User Registration Code and Email Address(4) Key in the CD Serial Number which can be found at the back of the CD jacket(5) Key in your User R
11、egistration Code. This can be obtain when you launch your Nimcard Premium program.(6) Key in your Email address. Click OK(7) An email containing the Authorisation Code will be sent to you.8B. Registering your Nimcard Premium Software(1) When you have received your Authorisation Code, launch the Nimc
12、ard Premium program(2) Click Register Now and enter the CD number and the Authorisation Code.(3) Click Ok(4) Your Nimcard Premium has been successfully registered.Kindly Note: Nimcard Premium can only be installed in ONE computer under the licensing agreement. You can choose to register the software
13、 later should you not decided which computer to install in. The software comes with 30 times trial.9II. Scanning Business CardsWhen you first launch Nimcard Premium, the following screen will appear:10If you are scanning business cards, under New Database click Nimcard Premium Database and name your
14、 folder.IMPORTANT: Before scanning any business cards, calibrating the Nimcard Premium Scanner is necessary for achieving optimal performance. You should calibrate the scanner if you are connecting the scanner to your computer for the first time.1. Calibrating Nimcard Premium Scanner(1) Run Nimcard Premium program, click from the mail toolbar, or select Scan from File menu.(2) Choose Calibrate from Action menu.The Calibration Wizard will appear:
